  1. Bobby McMann is a big reason why the Leafs might be different this year. Note that I said 'might' instead of 'will' so I I'm still keeping my fingers crossed to see what happens. The reason I feel this way is that this year the Leafs are showing more depth at all positions. Anthony Stolarz and Dennis Hildeby have been great in goal in place of Joseph Woll. There's more offence coming from the defensemen other than Morgan Rielly with Oliver Ekman-Larsson helping out on the PP and McCabe and Timmins chipping in as well. Chris Tanev has been a huge addition and the defensive game has improved overall because of his presence. Best of all, the Leafs don't have to completely rely on the Core 4 for offense from the forwards. If they happen to have an off night and get shut down, the Leafs can now turn to guys like McMann, Domi, Robertson, Pacioretty, Knies and my new hero Steven Lorentz. (Do a video on him sometime. He's a great story.) This might explain why the Leafs have won 3 straight while Matthews only got his 1st goal yesterday. I don't know how long this can last but it bears watching to see if this can work in the spring. We can only hope and pray that it will.

  2. Having grown up in the same town and even getting to skate on his parents backyard rink, it’s awesome to see Bobby grind and work his way to this level.

  3. I honestly believe he would of been the game changer last year in that Boston series

His stats last year were mainly from February and march keep that in mind

  4. ya, definitely could have used McMann in the playoffs… and Matthews… and Nylander… and Woll… @#!*$

  5. Bobby Clark(e)? MAYBE. Dude has flashes of a leaf's legend Wendel Clark even. Hope he continues his growth.

  6. I really liked the lines the leafs used in the game against kings. Pacioretty being scratched isn't great but where would you put him, replacing holmberg??

  7. there was this baseball player that got sick and his replacement went on an insane scoring streak, basically replacing him even after he was healthy again, thats what could happen to Woll too (lets hope stolarz stays as good!)
