Lightning struck twice this off season with the acquisition of Cotter and Kovacevic. I’m with you, there is no way Fitz chooses Nemec over Kovacevic. Nemec will just have to get his game together and make a push to return in the future. Shit happens, it’s business and he will just have to deal with it. We don’t need another year of rookie like mistakes since the real window opened on October 4, 2024.

Waiting for the T6 to fire up and that needs to happen really soon, can’t depend on the B6 to do everything. I’d be embarrassed if I was a “Star player” and watching role players/B6 doing the heavy lifting. That alone should get them going, we’ll see.

So, I rewatched the Brodeur goal. It still amps me up like the night it happened. It was cool that it took place against the Habs. They were always special games for Marty. Watching all the legends and non legends skate up to congratulate him was a trip down memory lane. What a time to be alive and a Devils fan 🙂
Headed back to the USA tonight. Can’t wait to start watching the games on tv. It’s near impossible to get what’s going on totally while listening to the radio stream even though Chico and Matt are pretty good duo.

Pretty much every single change I asked for during the last game, was done and it looked good. I think now that the general is more comfortable shifting the pairings and lines a bit, we will see better matchups. Great game, and man, Kovacevic is my favorite player right now. Absolute robbery. Strong October for the boys 3 years in arrow think we might be #1 in the league with the record in October over the last 3 years! November and December can secure our spot in the playoffs, I forget the stat but it’s like 75% of the teams that are in the playoffs by American thanksgiving make the playoffs. Imagine a 4 banner opening night 2025. Metro champs, Eastern conference champs, Presidents Trophy, Stanley cup a new Dynasty would be born as Devils fans we don’t just want 1 cup we want to dominate the league from 2025-2035 like we did from 95-05
Tbh almost every game we play them, Brady proved he shouldn't be captain. Don't get me wrong I love his physical play, but he might be the easiest player in the league to get off his game and into his head. Once you have beef with him, he's lucky if he provides any offense. Legit reminds me of myself when I was younger, couldn't decide if I wanted to score a hat trick every night or be Scott Steven's out there. You can do both, Brady should hopefully break out under the new coaching staff in Ottawa. Hated his lucky tip late in the game to break Markys SO too.

as much as i think wer stuck in terrible bad habbits. i can say our penalty kill is absolutely insane i think were gonna see alot of short handed goals. our penalty kill is completely next level
