No Haley Bannister is not just supposed to put out what he thinks the best players are. Blues are retooling right? So Bannister is supposed to explore and evaluate the talent base. Tell you right now NO ONE on the Blues can run the point on the PP better then Perunovich. Banister coaches in fear–he's paranoid about getting poor results that get you fired. He knows Army was hoping for Montgomery to be released by the Bruins. Army would have gave Monte the Blues job in a heart beat. We cannot evaluate a player in the press box. Bolduc is getting minutes. Perunovich is getting SCREWED by a fear based coach in a results orientated business. No need to do that to Scotty P. Kyrou , Faulk and Thomas love him by the way. It's Bannister look at that guy! Look at his body language! The man is a scared little boy.
I don't see Bannister as scared…I think he knows he's basically a placeholder , unless , of course, the team WAY overperforms over the next 2 years , otherwise he'll be replaced by Steen when he takes ove 9:20 r as GM
And they can trade Perunovich for a bag of pucks as far as I'm concerned. I haven't seen ANY proof he can run the power play and he certainly can't play defense. I also think Broberg may grow into the PP job
