Jets were on an 8 game winning streak going into the playoffs last year. Definitely not the wrong side of a valley. Colorado series was a weird one and felt like an aberation. If I remember correctly, Avs had 10 tipped goals in that series. Unheard of, not much you can do there

Woooo, know what you are talking about. Winnipeg wanted to sign Rutger. Rutger embraced the org and fans and said he wanted to sign and then changed his mind and said we wernt a right fit as soon as he put the jersey on. He never let the Jets negotiate. Rutger can do what he wants but he threw the city and team under the bus in the process.
Jets fans are typically pretty humble from what I have seen.
Rutger looks to be part of a rebuild for the next 10 years. Not sure how much thought he put into this, but he would learn a lot from Kyle Connor who is another American that is quite comfortable and loves playing in the peg.
The problem with the Jets is they messed with chemistry when they picked up Monahan and tofolli those are exactly the type of playoff players that were needed
It’s like any teams from the past sometimes it’s a learning experience. Tampa Bay had to go through some painful playoff situations before they went on their runs.
It wont be an 82 and 0 but if the Jets can stay ahead of the prescouting and change things up from time to time, 110 is achievable again.
