Was a good game! 🙂 Caufield worth his weight in gold; delivers when it matters. Li'l-Kapanen proved he does not break under pressure. Defence still leaking a bit, but way better than the other night. 🙂 Joel Armia gets nothing much done, 1 more chance and off to the farms. :/
Anyway, 1 point against the Islanders is not a bad result at all. Could have gone either way. I liked the positive trend, good energy.

When does Dach come back from injury? And is Slafkovsky in Laval? I haven't seen either on the ice.

I think St. Louis is trying to be patient with Dach, and gives him opportunities to get going often. Right now it's hurting the Canadiens, that line is terrible, and Dach is -8 already. St. Louis knows it's a long season, and if they are going to go anywhere, they have to play through this. It may even get worse when Laine comes back, because he's rusty too
We need goals from Slaf not secondary assist because golas ain't coming from anyone else besides CC and defenseman.
Dvorak was the cause of Dach's penalty in Overtime. It should have been Slaf out there not Dvorak, Slaf probably would have scored where Dvorak instead lost the puck and forced Dach on defence.
Honestly (regardless of the final scoring) I think it was one of our best game of the season so far! The Canadiens played so well in the first two periods, we had to many penalties in the third but our defence showed up! Our players desperately need to improve their discipline that’s for sure but other than that we played a very good game! Sucks to lose but I don’t mind losing that way and at least we have a point! I hope we’ll play as good against the rangers 🤞

Great to see Caufield off to a hot start. I love Suzuki, but I’m getting a bit annoyed with his same old shootout routine…go wide, slow and a half assed move to go through the 5 hole. Caufield too. They really need to work on their shootout skills. Heinemem and Kapenen came in with energy and scored beauty snipes upstairs! Come on Nick do better 😊
