Bucky is making it apparent that he doesn't like to share. Whether it be the net, the Vezina, whatever, apparently if you want any recognition as a goalie in this league you're gonna have to take it from him by force.
As for the rest of the team, by my eyes their defensive structure has loosened a bit from last year (it's not showing up in the goals against because goaltending, but Moneypuck agrees that their expected goals against per 60 is up slightly), but that's been in exchange for a more mobile and dynamic offensive structure which has increased their scoring by over a goal per game thus far into the season. The powerplay is currently only 10% lower than the Oilers penalty kill, which is wild. 82-0 would be insane and I'd be insane to expect it, but I'm feeling pretty darn good about this team right now.

A little note, Jets 1.0 have the 5th longest reg/playoffs undefeated streak, going 15 games without a loss.
I hope Pionk does better this year, last year was rough for him, it would be great to see him succeed

As a Jets fan, I am ecstatic!! As many of us are. But I’m gonna be humble and not expect too too much and control my expectations. I learned that from last year when we finished 4th. But I think with Arnie as our new coach, the guys are a lot stronger and the pushback is just different and better from what i’ve seen in previous years! GO JETS GO!!!

Rangers have been better but it definitely has been a surprise how good the Jets have been

As a jets fan when I heard he had signed an extension at only 8.5 I thought it was a joke, because I would have easily accepted a world where he signed for 10.

As a Jets fan I’m really happy. The team is playing good and they aren’t kicking themselves when they get down by 1 or 2 like they did last season. Hoping it keeps up!
If you recall, we got 34 games in a row of 3 goals against per game or less last season, 1 below the modern era record. Currently, we are at 6 in a row in that stat, not including the regular season games last season.

Would like to say that helley played great but schenner had the puck bounce over his blade pretty much and barely got anything on the shot had it not bounced it would've most likely went in but you can't win them all. Also +17 differential is wild
Being the best team to start a season usually doesn't translate to playoff success.
As a Canadian not living in Winnipeg it'd be nice to see them bring a Cup back to Canada. Can't say the same for a few other Canadian franchises though.
