I wonder why management considers Kasper to be a emergency player. I wonder if Motte isn't injured to bad and they're scratching him for cap reasons.
just listened to this full thing. this guy needs fired. the longer Yzerman waits the better the odds that Steve goes down w him when Lalonde finally goes down.
this utter clown had Kucherov and Stamkos in Tampa yet is still here blathering about '200 foot game' for offense first forwards. thank God for Tampa's sake he wasn't head coach, he'd have ruined Kucherov and ruined those teams.
It's clear most of the team wants Lalonde fired with how they are playing. Plain as day. Basically Kane said after the game last night that the team sits back on their heels too much, doesn't push the pace and is playing scared hockey. He said it nicely but it's what he said. Lalonde has to go. Period. It hasn't worked. He should have been fired last year. Basically Kane is Johnny Lawrence's approach and Lalonde wants the cautious boring Daniel Larusso approach. Sometimes the best defense is MORE OFFENSE. The teams winning have a high paced offense with young players. They impose their will on teams. They don't sit back. Wake up Steve!
