PLD is going to get packaged with a 1st and sent to the Sharks who will buy him out, only for the Habs to sign him on a 1yr league min deal and flip him at the deadline for a first when he finds his game again.
In all my years watching hockey, there's only one player I've ever seen check out the way PLD has. James Neal immediately after signing in Calgary. For those that don't know the details, he was pissed that Lindholm jumped him as RW1 and he decided to pout all year. It was crazy.
These type of players need to be colluded against by NHL GMâs. Let him go play in Europe of the KHL. Heâs been given THREE opportunities(2 fresh starts) to prove he deserves a roster spot. Can they bury him in the minors? Make him ride the bus at leastâŠ
