  1. We've got an elite goalie, a good group of players, and we hired a coach who already had a relationship with these players. I didn't expect this start at all. Good to see.

  2. They are winning because ever player is bought in to the defensive first system, and when they are on the offence, they play so hard to keep the puck in the other end. Case in point…Kyle Connor's incredible effort to re-steal the puck on the blueline to eventually assist Vilardi's goal, and that kind of aggressive attack to always chase and claim the puck is something you see the entire game. Even Ehlers OT goal…old Nik would have taken the shot and then just watched…maybe see if there's a rebound for someone else to grab…but no, he fired it from the top of the dots, and then RACES to be the first player closest to the puck to make sure it goes in or at the very least, tap it in if it needed a little extra push.

  3. I'm grateful for the streak….however we haven't played against great teams yet. But, there's still time.

  4. They have an elite goalie AND they have the privilege of playing the same roster for 2 years in a row.

They are all in sync and they are making excellent ground.

Things will even out by December/January in the standings.

    They are playing amazing.

    – Moving the puck well
    – Playing team-defence
    – Their defenceman are producing offence
    – They are all playing in sync and are smoking teams that are trying to integrate new players.
