Disappointing to be outshot yet again. Feels like the chemistry still isn't quite right. Alot of missed passes and missed assignments. Kasper continues to impress. Bounces went their way, not ours. LGRW 🐙 🏒 🤘

More and more I can't defend Lalonde when he continues to say he liked the way they played. Yeah, the last 40 minutes today were better than the first 20. They still spent WAY too little time in the offensive zone. I used to think he just said this stuff to placate the media, but now it really does look like his standards for good hockey are too low.
Miracle that we even have a win this season.

I've defended the coaching saying things like "we've been incrementally better year over year"; however, these schemes/plays aren't working and it's up to the coaches to review tapes, revise, and find something that will. It don't look so good for them – especially the entirety of special teams. The defensive structure sucks. You can't play defensive structures without pressure up top or run a collapsing zone on the PK in the NHL (with consistent results) and what's worse – RUN IT 5v5 to achieve what!? Goals against?! Underlying numbers reflecting potentiality is for idiots when you're not affecting/replacing your reality with better plays/structure. The eye/reality test is very hard to stomach game to game because this ain't the roster to achieve that. I'm really starting to buy into the need new coaches… Even the wins this season we have played like shit – and no one can defend against that claim. I'm not thinking it's the players collectively, y'know?

Our roster has a top 3 and a bottom 9 because compher, Kane, and tarasenko don’t do shit. Raymond has 1 goal and leads our team in points. Once he starts scoring at a very much due higher rate, he’s gonna be a 75-80+ point player for sure. Larkin had an off shooting night and you could tell by his frustration so I’m not too worried about him because of a bad game shooting wise for him. Debrincat man… another empty net to tap the puck in and shot it over the net 😅. Props to our goalies who were a questionable concern at the beginning of the season because they have sure proved me wrong with how great they’ve look outside the odd moment that all goalies have. Still lots of season left so I’m not giving up LGRW!
The overpaid veteran free agency signings are bringing this team down. Compher and Copp suck. Petry and Holl suck. Gustavson sucks. Why is Petry getting 20 minutes a game? Why is Johansson not getting any playing time? Lalonde line and pairings are an absolute joke.
I don’t understand why lalonde preaches defense but nobody goes out and lays a hit at the blue line. They need to stop giving the opposition so much speed on the entry. Someone needs to lay someone out in the first minute and set the tone. If they played like they did in the 3rd period against the devils every game they would win.

We are in year 6 of the Yzerman era and this team still have the same issues that haven’t been fixed. It’s ridiculous. The personnel we have on the D is atrocious. The style of play stinks. Lalonde is playing this cat and mouse game every game. I can talk about so many more issues but I’ve talked about it too many times.

Everyone else watching the same game doesn't like any of those minutes. There were small glimpses here and there, of course they also resulted in a few goals. There were chances to decide the match, but we return the effort. It was Buffalo that we met, are you absolutely sure that was clear in your briefings?
Kane + loads of others, completely invisible and has a very negative body language for 59/min.. Out of 60/min, Kane had two chances to shoot and he doesn't do any of them. Send him down to GR or take control of the room again because it's obvious he doesn't share coach's analytical skills and path selection. He won't get his bonus paid out, what a damn rip off.
Whoever pairs Chiarot & Petry together is completely blind for 60/min. How many situations are they in and how is it possible that they disappear as D when all 5 outfield players collapse below both dot's. What a great system this is, I like how we play the last 40/min…
Only very scared and insecure teams play such a low defense game and lift the puck out at the first best opportunity. Is it no coincidence that Petry is constantly locked up because he, like most others on D, lacks quick footwork. Johansson is given no opportunities to play despite having everything as a young man, not to mention Wallinder & Co in GR.
When Rasmussen and Burger are among the most visible in the O-zone for a greater part of 60/min, without having puck control though. Everyone knows that it's really bad with the team's performance, not according to our coach f*** tool.
Lalonde, You are not a car salesman. Do your damn job as a head coach. You are in your 3rd year as a coach, how is it possible that none of your teams can play your system?
