The same thing as ever. No motivation. I was at the last leaf Stanley Cup Victory parade after the 1966/67 season. They had players such as George Armstrong,Tim Horton, Bob Baun, Johnny Bower, Bob Pulford, Allan Stanley and the Big "M". These guy's played their hearts out. At that parade I would never have thought that would be their most recent Stanley Cup in 2024-2025.
It's just baffling the Leafs are still using the same people when it has never worked. At this point they should just blow this whole core up, even trade Matthews, his value is probably highest it's ever going to be.

It’ll be nice to one day watch the Leafs or Raptors play beyond early-May, but that likely will be wishful thinking at least for this season, with the:
– Leafs having this regular season struggled in too many games to score that it’s quite possible they’ll end this season as a lottery team
– Raptors having yet to this season win consecutive regular-season games as much as I hope they will when later this evening Eastern Daylight Time they play an away game at the Target Center against the Minnesota Timberwolves (with the Raptors having come off a win on Friday EDT at home to the 76ers)
I know I don’t have patience but sadly it might take that. However if the same stuff is being talked about in February or even January, how can we honestly get excited about the post season?

Need to chill on jt and willy. Jt same points as mathews but is even plus minus not minus 3. Willy 7 points leading the team in goal and is plus 3 and marner has same points but is minus 5 . Jt played 1 less game and lost 8 pounds. Willy and jt are not the biggest problems.

As a leaf fan, I like what is happening so far this year, even though most fans have known for at least 5 years this group the way it is, does not work, too much money for too little results, hopefully if it continues this way MLSE will be forced to fire shanny and actually change the personnel on this team. They can’t resign Marner and be competitive in the coming years. They can resign JT but at no more then 5 cause he isn’t worth more then that anymore. Rielly as much as I love him, he isn’t a number 1 dman he’s too soft in his own end, he needs to go cause you can’t pay someone number 1 dman money when really they aren’t a number one. I felt the Rielly signing was a mistake when they made it, as Sandin is a younger version of him and they should have kept him instead so they could free up cap space to go after bigger better defenders. But nope this management hands players blank cheques and says name your price

Leafs fans are so hilariously volatile. I mean, they get to game 4, game 5, they put up one on a Tampa team that is clearly just having a bad night, and man, they're on top of the world, just call it now, they're going 82 and bringing the Cup home.
Now, reality sets in, they lose a few in a row and come back down to their rightful place, and all the sudden the team's on fire and you've got to dump all the excess waste to save the sinking ship.
There's 82 games, that so many games. Just calm down, shut up, and let it ride. When game 82 is in the books, then pass your judgment
The problem is the players you have on the roster. You can change the coach as many times as you want… the players are to blame!
Look, I'm not a Leafs fan, but Iive in the market and I love hockey, so I watch a lot of games. I think they have too many players that fill the same roll. They need players that compliment each other. Lots of skill, lots of potential, but the ability to gel and fill out each other's strengths and weaknesses is key. Every one of these stars are top notch NHL all-star skilled players, but they aren't complimentary of one another.

It’s maple leafs sports and entertainment….not a hockey reference there…they keep drafting and trading for glass figure skaters..they keep their management in tact starting with shanahan…..there is your problem. No one will listen 😂😂😂
