No, truly I say, the Leafs are the NY Jets of the NHL. Haven't won since the moon landing (Leafs '67, Jets '69), rabid fanbases, and decades long history of the most baffling, inane, and inept ownership and management in the entire league with monumental losses in only the most dramatic fashion (Game 7s against Boston, Red Right 88). Topping it all off with arguably the single most embarrassing moments in each respective league's history (Zamboni driver who works for the team, The Buttfumble™️)

Trade Marner and Tavares
Leaf's often have more players with more skill than their opponents. They frequently are defeated by opposition that is more dedicated to playing as a collective team with better effort and effective strategy. While they are frittering away important opportunity to put some points in the bank without seemingly being aware or care, if they lose the next two games they could be in last place in their division plus they are losing in the head-to-head match-ups in the case where there is a tie in points for playoff contention. re- Joseph Woll: he was looking like Petr Mrazek as in over-sliding out of his crease and out of position for rebounds. re- power play: Anthony Stolarz when having the chance, has taken control to headman the puck to a forward at centre ice trying to override the dopey bringing the puck deep in their own end and cycling numerous drop passes effectively killing-off about 17 seconds while allowing the other team to line-change and set-up their defense while Leafs have to wait to stay on-side. dumb dumb dumb.
How often do we see that even if the opposition has been outscored and trails by at least two goals, they refuse to 'mail-in' the balance of the game, but continue to play hard and leave the message that they are not going to quit while the game is still on. The difference in resolve is so apparent.
