Comment les Blues de St. Louis vont-ils compenser la perte du centre à tout faire blessé Robert Thomas ? Ce sera un défi, mais les Blues ont réussi le premier test sans Thomas en éliminant les Maple Leafs 5-1, jeudi à Toronto. Dans la victoire, les Bleus ont montré à peu près tout ce qu’ils devaient faire de bien avec l’absence de Thomas. Gardien de but, profondeur de qualité et jeu percutant de la part des joueurs des Blues de première année. Et les meilleurs joueurs de l’équipe doivent jouer à un niveau élevé. Ce n’était que le premier d’une longue série de matchs sans Thomas, mais les Blues se sont rendus à Toronto et ont fait une déclaration catégorique.

Last yr, in my opinion, they would have collapsed. Different cast of characters this year, depth and mental make up seems different.
Robert Thomas is definitely a bad loss but Nick Leddy on the IR is an overall positive from my perspective.
Hmmm….the defense is much better with Leddy out. The injury to Thomas is a big blow,, the whole team has to pick it up, and against Toronto they did.
Kyrou really stepped it up last night. Now if he can maintain that level of intensity we will see. He's been up and down in the amount of effort put forth for most of his career. It would be an opportune time for him to prove me wrong.
Really great team win last night. Binner was unreal!
It's only one game, but maybe they will be ok.
Broberg and Holloway have made a big difference with this team. Just listening to Binner's comments about watching their work ethic could be a huge positive for the rest of their teammates.
Wow, they looked like a professional hockey team…..Kudos to the new coach and their system especially with the lead! Reminded me of the 90s wings where possession of the puck was paramount…If they don't have the puck they can't score….Great start!
