Never been a Sabres fan, never been to Buffalo..and yet there are very few teams Id rather see get in and succeed.

I’m thankful for this. To the casual viewer, Buffalo is the defacto “poverty franchise”. There are plenty of young people who have never witnessed a great Sabres roster in their lives. I would be pleased with going 6-2-2 in our next 10. We can do better, but I think it’s realistic given we don’t have the easiest of opponents in the next 10 and there are still major gaps in our game notably the PP. Like forget worrying about a power play goal I’m more concerned about the number of short handed goals scored against us already. Anyway, I see real change from the entire squad and way more accountability and work ethic. 10 more games and we’ll have a much clearer picture.
Can't we just enjoy the season and stop worrying about the drought.

sabers were a in and out of playoffs teams they had a brief period of real success but never recovered from miller injury. now over a decade later…. sabers still cant put up elite 1st and second line stats when compared to the other franchises.
the 5 on 5 is doing all of the scoring. if the power play can just be middle of the pack with that 5 on 5 the Sabres could be dangerous.

I wasn't worried when they were in a hole I'm not hyped up because they won a few- there are not games you should win or games you should lose,- in the end you record is your record-it's talent, injuries, and coaching-Sabres probably need an upgrade in the top four D-man.

I know they’ve been winning and playing better. But I’ll believe this is a playoff team when they officially make it. Things look good now, yes. But we Sabres fans have been here before. I can only hope this is different this year.

Cozens has had the chances but cant bury him, i would love to see them try him out on the wing, maybe move McLeod up and have either Kulich or Benson center the 3rd pair. Something has to get Cozens going, its been nearly a season and a half where hes been completely snake bitten, getting tons of shots but nothing going in
"This is the year" is a phrase that has a lot of meaning to both Leafs and Sabres fans.
It will take time to gel under new voices with so many new faces while trying to recapture the offensive magic of two seasons ago.
As a Sabres fan I would like more than anything to see playoff hockey again.i was in high school the last time they played in the playoffs and im 31 now. So tired of our team giving us hope and then smashing it year after year.
