  1. at the 1 minute mark, very interested to see what's in this breakdown. last time i checked, despite the start, the Jets were fourth-worst in xG% (below San Jose), had a PP% equivalent to 4/9, a PK equivalent to 8/9, and a -2 goal diff at 5v5.

  2. Hellebyuck vs San Jose – George Vezina reincarnated

Hellebyuck vs the Leafs or Avs – 5 goals a game, 30 goals a series lmao

  3. Hockey Psych is so good. Are there channels doing this – both weekly check-ins and in-depth but also relatively beginner-friendly analysis – for other sports?

  4. I know its not a popular team among die-hard hockey fans who aren't fans of this team, but can you please do a Vegas breakdown? They get glossed over alot due to east coast bias and unpopularity among the community, but Vegas is a really good team. One of the best 1st lines in the league, with Eichel and Stone both being top 10 in points right now, some of the best depth in the league, and a good defensive system. It would make my day to see a VGK breakdown.

  5. A few things I've noticed this year as a jets fan.
    1. They are very confident in their goalies and quite comfortable allowing teams to get a first shot. The goalies, for their part, have earned that trust.
    2. The forecheck and board play has in most games been a major advantage, and some games nearly automatic. Against Pittsburgh, for example, it felt like every dump and chase resulted in a chance. Toronto outplaying them on the boards in that game created a lot of problems because they're normally able to rely on dominant board play.
    3. The movement on the powerplay is a breath of fresh air and probably the biggest reason they've gone from one of the worst PPs last year to the the best PP this year. When you move people around you force defenders to move their coverage, and every movement has the opportunity for someone to miss their assignment, be a half second late, or otherwise make an exploitable mistake. And there's enough scorers that the PK can't just focus on defending one guy and hope to get away with it.

  6. I think last year they overachieved but if they keep playing well then the jets are legit. I hate getting heartbroken every playoffs😂

  7. Go Jets! 44% powerplay is nuts.. don't expect that too hold up forever.. but like stated.. if Winnipeg sticks too its structure they have a good chance this year(he says with ptsd vs the Avs still)

  8. I love the constant digs at the Sharks and the toilet bowl comments in your videos. That’s what I’m here for.

  9. i mean, you'd have to be a fool to think the jets could keep up this pace. however, once teams put the jets under the microscope, you figure they'll find ways to counter their style. The difference in their PP is just night and day. both units are clicking and kfc not having an early season slump is fantastic to see. i wonder where connor will end up on the 4 nation team?

  10. If you keep making videos like this along with weekly recaps, your channel is going to explode !!!! Who do you think would be a good fit in Winnipeg to shore up any gaps they have @hockey psychology????

  11. Hands down one of the best hockey channels out there right now.

You've helped me notice so much more in the game when I'm watching and it makes me love hockey even more. Thank you.

  12. Hockey fans understand, but for those that are just casual hockey viewers I always reiterate that playoff hockey is not the same as regular season hockey
