Montreal will somehow end up with Bedard without being last.

The sharks won’t finish last. They will do just enough to miss the playoffs and pick somewhere between #11-15

I don’t think the sharks are bad enough to be dead last, but I don’t think they’re good enough to be a playoff team. Mediocre is the word of the year for them IMO
I think your “dead last” squad is probably going to be the likes of Chicago, Philly or Arizona

Arizona. Then they package Bedard, Chychrin, and some other peices for a Matthews to Arizona trade with Toronto.

I just don’t want the Blackhawks to get Bedard, after all the shit that came out last year, they don’t deserve him. Sorry Blackhawk fans and Blackhawk players not involved with the team when the Kyle Beach situation happened but the franchise deserves to suffer for a few years.

I expect Bedard to be a Blackhawk or Hab even if they don’t wind up last place. Maybe even a Coyote, though I doubt that.

Like a lot of others on here, I’m leaning towards Arizona/Chicago. Flyers very well could too, but I’m curious to see how things go with Tortorella this coming season. Sharks might not make playoffs but I’m thinking they’ll have a pretty respectable season, also a team with a new head coach and new GM as well

How can anyone think it’s anyone other than Chicago or Arizona? Both have/are currently selling off all assets. Both are actively picking up as many bad contracts of unproductive players as possible. It really comes down to who carries their teams more Keller/chychrun vs Kane/Jones. Both Chychrun and Kane could be gone by the deadline also.
These two teams are both absolutely awful. I’d be surprised if either of these teams hits 25 wins this year. And flat out amazed if either hits 30.

They won’t be last place, but I hope the Canucks win the lottery.

I mean Arizona… rinse and repeat. I feel bad for their fans. Incredibly addictive polite and hospitable. Yotes also have one of the greatest threads in all of sports.
