In a 32 team league this record will never be tied or broken.
He’s got it permanently

He looks like he is pushing late 40s on that picture. It’s crazy how older (and more bad ass) hockey players looked back then.

Such a fabulous jersey!

Two fewer Cups than the Leafs have in their whole history.

11 cups is such a legendary number, he was a brilliant player.

I love this sweater, with the numbers in the arm stripes.
The only thing that could make it better would be an RBC patch…

I met him multiple times as a kid because of my brother, at charity events. He never missed any. Guy Lafleur came a few times as well, and Beliveau always did them too. I remember a time where all 3 of them were there and they were mingling with people and stuff.
I’m sure they’ve heard it all before, we’re just fans after all. But they always seemed happy to be there. Henri for me was the best one, probably the best Hab of all time for his off ice stuff. 11 cups on ice doesn’t hurt.
I know the popular choice is Beliveau and that’s a solid option as well, but it’s between those two for me.

And none of them were with the RBC logo on the jersey.

Habs may be crap today, but its to balance the sheer amount of talent they had in the 20th century.

The Habs only have 13 cups without him!
