Especially since the ref is staring right at it. There’s also the time Matthews was being held back by his jersey for like 8 seconds.
PLD mugging Matthews and getting coincidental was a blood boiler.
But yeah that missed call in ot was rough

This was frustrating but if I was Keefe I wouldn’t appreciate Matthews giving up at the end there to block the rush
I mean it is definitely the pick play in the playoffs against the lightning. He had literally stopped and started skating the other way when the lightning player bumped into him. You’ll never see that called again.
the playoffs had something similar. Tavares’ no-goal due to a pick while TB’s first goal was a odd man rush as a result of a pick at the offensive blue line preventing a back check
Justin Holl penalty that nullified the Tavares goal, when Tampa had run that exact same play and scored 2 other times earlier in the series.
