Sadly, it seems like it :/. I was really hoping for something actually true to the name « Reverse Retro » but this just looks like it’ll just be a copy of the original.

I’m in the minority here I know, but while the eagle is a fine logo, the black/teal/gold color era was attrocious.
To me, the original reverse retro jersey is the best jersey in team history. Love the screaming eagle logo, so my wallet is ready to be thrown at this.
Give me the Capitol building ffs! Itâs like Iâll never see it again lol.
With the Wizards already announcing they’re bringing back the blue/black/bronze color scheme and old logo for their « 25th Anniversary », my inner-90’s kid is all in for the Caps doing the same.

Dude, I’m just hoping that jerseys are available for more than 5 minutes. Although I’ll be in the area for the first time in a decade it shouldn’t take showing up in person to get one.
I have an earnest question as someone who was not watching the Caps in the era of the black and blue Screagle and giant Capitol building jerseys. What is it about them that draws so many?
Personally, again only having the perspective of looking back at it, I think it’s an ugly color-scheme with meh-logos.
Is it a nostalgia thing that I’ve simply missed the boat on? Or perhaps there’s deeper meanings that I’m unaware of? But I’d take our current look over that era every single time.
Wish they could sell the original reverse retro. Didnât have a chance to get one.
