This was my now-2-year-old too.
Recently he came to a game and I skated up to the boards and he saw my face and *freaked out*. He hadn’t quiiiiite figured out it was me out there. He was so excited. Kept his finger trained on me all game. Sometimes he’d « lose me » and ask « where Dada go? ».
Now most nights he asks « Dada play hockey at night? » but my games are wayyyy too late for him 99% of the time.
