I have a Vipers flag signed by Bernie Federko. I got it at the AllStar game that was hosted at Kiel. I believe that was the 2nd ever event at the Kiel Center.

I used to go to the games.. only time I’ve sat on the glass. Fun times.
I played roller hockey at the intermission of a Vipers game, which also happened to be a the last event held in the Arena

I had about a dozen of these from playing in a Vipers sponsored tourney at Kiel center before their games but used them up in the street when I was a kid. Wish I would’ve kept them.
They were supposed to make a comeback in some kinda new spin up pro league but I think Covid killed it.

I grew up playing roller hockey in the 90s. I went to a ton of Vipers’ games. I was psyched when they won the RHI championship.
That’s the puck that led to the death of the league, by the way.

Fuck yeah bud. Went to so many games. Played against their goalie a few times in my roller leagues. Dude was a beast. Did score on him once with a clapper from the blue. My highest achievement

I remember going to quite a few games and the first ever all-star game at Kiel

Don’t know Robs last name but he runs the Skatium and used to be one of the goalies for the vipers. Went to one game as a kid and it was the closest I’ve ever sat at the (now)Enterprise center.

Oh man! Great times! I miss them! They were planning a comeback right before the pandemic and even started accepting season ticket deposits. But then 2020 hit and that all fell throughout guess.

Wow, an old JOFA puck. Now that brings back memories.
When I was in high school my friends and I were playing roller hockey on some tennis courts, nice and smooth, they were great for hockey.
I went to the front of the net for a deflection but my friend caught too much air with his shot and the puck smashed me straight in the teeth. There was blood everywhere and I thought my teeth were gone.
By some miracle, I didn’t lose anything. A lot of bleeding, and a tiny chip on one tooth.
I still can’t believe how fortunate I was that day. The memories come flooding back whenever I see a JOFA puck 😆

As a good little Christian boy in a very conservative household, I was pumped my parents let me take a “Bite Me” sign home from the Vipers game.

I fucking hated those street pucks

I bought season tickets for them then the pandemic happened…I was so pumped they were bringing them back

Hell yeah, we grew up playing mostly roller because we couldn’t afford ice time.

Mine is on display next to my blues puck!

That was the only hockey team I ever got to see play in the old Arena. I also went to their all-star game at the Kiel Center.

Used to love going to their games. I caught a puck at one of the last games I went to.
