Damn I really wanted him to get a shot. Sucks we kind of failed him here.
Wonder if we offered him a year but he didn’t want to take such a pay cut.
I feel for him that he never got a Cup. If he chooses to keep going the media route he’s gonna do very well for himself.

He was a great locker room presence for our young guys.
Sometimes it came across goofy but I’m positive that he worked hard to not let emotions flare in the locker room and on the ice when losing.
It’s a shame he never was the d man we hoped he would be with us but it was a good few years.
Surprised to see his career end so young, I have to wonder if he’s been dealing with a physical issue the last few years.
