Charlie is the man. I trust his opinions. I haven’t seen him to try the positive spin thing to softball a question or a point he has.
The problem is simply that Fletcher has not managed to put the Flyers in a position for future success, whether short-term or long-term.
Plenty of stuff has happened that *isn’t* Chuck’s fault, but you can’t possibly convince me that this team would be in good shape if it weren’t for bad luck. You don’t wind up with a team that is a bottom five team *and* up against the cap ceiling without horrible mismanagement.
I agree. Chuck and this team have definitely had some rotten luck over the past few years.
