  1. As a Florida season ticket holder I agree with pretty much all of what you've said except for Mckenzie Weegar.
Offensively pretty but defensively he was less than effective, they all make mistakes but his seems to be more costly. In my opinion it can be replaced with Montour, Carlson if giving the chance and Forsling.

  2. I think they have had some major losses here. Obviously them losing huberdeau and weegar in the tkachuk trade is tough but tkachuk is a young star that will be a huge part of their future, while huberdeau is older. But i think losing weegar hurts them still. Losing giroux and marchment is huge as well. Idk, this is a team that will make the playoffs still and will have success, but their losses worry me. That said, i do like all of the faces theyve brought in and i think theres going to be a lot of good chemistry with these players. Im not a panthers fan but this is definitely one of the more interesting teams heading into the season in my eyes

  3. I see Florida in a dogfight for 3rd in the division, but 5th should be good enough for a wild card spot.

  4. Apparently the style of hockey that the panthers play can't win. I wonder what team won the cup last year. Must've been the most passive defensive team ever

  5. Colin White, Rudy Balcers, MDZ, Andrew Hammond and Chris Tierney setting up in Florida to create a tiny neighbourhood of recent Ottawa players; call it Lil Kanata.

  6. I think Miami has a setback season. Yes, they are hugely talented. Tkchuk will help them be more physical & harder to play against. I think like the Maple Leafs, the playoff pain will continue.

  7. The defense is not good enough, straight up. They won't get 1st in the division or win the cup just based on that

  8. The Panthers…is grit really the answer ? The problem might still be in the goalie department, even with that amazing depth in offense and defense…that issue will have to be answered !!

  9. Please explain me how you calculate the Cup odds? As European viewer I don't get it.

  10. Fair assessment. There's a reason why Cats are top odds to win Cup. The roster remains stacked, and Bob looks reborn. Chiarot was a turnstyle, gman wasn't a factor, March can't stay on the ice , hubey took games off, and weegar is a bone head, he won't be missed bro, I promise u. Horny and lomberg get the ice time they deserve and Maurice is an upgrade at coach, my fucking cat is an upgrade over Bruno. Zito brought in plenty of options to fill in the gaps. And some promising rookies. Cats win Atlantic AGAIN, cause I think leafs goaltending is still hot garbage, and Bolts don't seem interested in regular season.

  11. I was bummed about some of those exits but looking at the roster right now I'm actually optimistic they'll do OK…

  12. They will still be good in the season … but thats not the big question … the question is … can they be better in the playoffs, and if thats the line up for their blue-line …I see that as a problem I'm sorry.

  13. I think Florida is gonna drop a bit in the standings because they’re undeniably worse of a team than last year (fifth or sixth is my guess) but I think they do better in the playoffs

  14. Maurice is a slightly more defensive coach. I think both Bob and Knight will have better numbers this season but Florida will score less goals. Maurice is an upgrade and with the amount of offensive talent I still see Florida finishing at the top of the league.

  15. As a habs fan I'm hoping for a bottom 5 season. Likely they are in the playoff mix though. But a lot of changes, could be bad. We'll see.

  16. Prediction: 2nd in the Atlantic
Reasoning: I think they are going to miss having Weegar and Chariot on the blue line and Paul Maurice is a step down to me from what Brunette brought behind the bench, but they still have a loaded roster and should be a top half team in the East. I think the biggest concern right now for them is playoffs and they have a team that is much more geared twards it so they will likley be taking it easier in the regular season anyway.

  17. Special teams was of legendary bad status in the playoffs. Only the bruins and the panthers have advanced to the second round without scoring a power play goal in the first round. They were roughly 0/21… vs the caps. Thank you for all your great vids

  18. The Florida Panthers have as much turnover as the Miami Marlins. What’s in the drinking water in South Florida?
