Great video! – I like it!
I'll throw out mine two cents

Krejci & Pasta are going to give Hall MORE chances- I see Hall as a potential top 2 point leader.

    Top scorer

They'll double team Pasta, leave Hall open more often.
That's how Jake got his stick on a few opportunistic pucks, increased his stats – they double-team Marchand

And, there's going to be more time & control in the offense zone

Pasta & DeBrusk are going to be jumping between the two top lines – just because they're put on one line? Pasta will be playing with Bergie plenty

I can see Zacha going down up and down between the first and second line

Line changes can be gradual -think of the chaos and mismatches trying to predict those two top lines haha!

I see third line production going up cuz of top two lines will be wearing down the defense!

there's going to be mismatches that make NHL defensive coaches lose sleep!
"my defense has to take on both Bergeron AND Krejci lines?"

Mismatches and mass confusion – I see a lot of third period goals, unusual number of hat tricks especially against lesser teams – if the refs allow
    🙄

Chara it's more likely coming back in skates than not
Player – coach, Islander fans are thrilled at what he did for Dobson

    – he's definitely signing a contract, whether it's for a day or a year we don't know.

But we do know – if he intended on signing with the Bruins for just a day, to retire his jersey?
That would have been announced already

Probably done the first home game.

This is the man who built and drove the machine that won the 2011 Cup

We darn well know Patrice wants him around

I think it's going to happen-
The biggest obstacle is Chara himself, he won't take a reserve player position

Boston's very aware of their sports legacy and history – they ARE going to have the oldest signed active NHL hockey player in history

Whether it's just for playoffs, no salary cap, or the season?
Don't know – but Charas showing up wearing skates in that number 33 black & gold jersey before this season is done

Even if it's just for the Bruins to put that in their history book!

If we've got these top two lines cooking? It would be easy to give him quick short shifts against certain teams

I'm not trying to create clickbait I've been looong time Bruins fan

    – they're not going to disrespect Chara by having him hang up his skates this way – rejected?

They'll figure it out. If the Bruins only offer him reserve and another Eastern team offers him a consistent spot? We might lose him that way – otherwise I see him coming back.

It's always been media and reporters that claim he's retiring – listen to his interviews carefully, especially leaving the Islanders

    – it's the reporters talking about retirement, never him!

  2. I don't know. I mean, what is the goal?
The goal with having Bergeron and Krejci back must be having another shot to win the Stanley Cup. Nothing else.
And I have to say that I don't see that unless there are two really good first lines.
Once everyone is back is what I am looking at. The 2nd line should be Hall – Krejci – Pastrnak – absolutely. We know they have chemistry.
But then we have the first line. The question is who can be the RW next to Marchand and Bergeron. Yes, you can say Jake DeBrusk and hope for a breakout season. It's possible.
But I honestly think that it's time to bring in the one who has the most potential for this role. Fabian Lysell. Let him profit from Bergeron and Krejci (on the PP) before they are gone! I think the key to really being a contender is getting him going already this season.
It's not only Krejci back and Zacha added that is needed but also another injection of fresh talent. Lysell will turn 20 in January. When young David Pastrnak (that comparison does not seem completely off) was 20, he already played his second spring with the Bruins. Just like Seth Jarvis, I think Lysell can make it directly from the WHL to the NHL and does not need a year at Providence before.
Just give him lots of ice time and get him used to the NHL this fall. Once Marchand is back, perhaps he could really get going.
Zacha will be a nice addition and as long as Marchand is absent, he has a good chance for getting first line minutes.
I really think the roster looks good. But it needs Lysell, in my opinion. With that, all the pieces could be in place for a really nice run from January on. Until then, we surely will see a fall where the Bruins will not be convincing, probably even not in the play-off picture.
Can't expect that without Marchand and McAvoy. It will be from January on when the real Bruins will be back. I say: Use the fall for Lysell's transition to the NHL. Use the veterans to help him instead of only bringing him in when they are gone. Everyone will profit from it.
Sure, Jake DeBrusk would not like it, because he would be on the third line then. Trent Frederic would not like it either. But hey, what a bottom six that would make! Incredible depth. Zacha and Krejci are great additions, but not enough to be a contender. That is my opinion. More talent had to be added. If that worked out, the depth would also be immense.

  3. You're dream world !!! lmao theres more chance of Ottawa and Detroit finishing ahead of Boston and Florida then Boston making the playoffs I heard no reasons why Boston deserves all this credit…
