Rejoignez Ken Kal, Daniella Bruce et Art Regner alors que le camp de développement #RedWings se termine par un tournoi 3v3. Présenté par : Huntington Bank
I hope Lombardi can get on a better team for his development. The Flint Firebirds aren't very much known for being a good place for good prospects to develop.. The kid looks like a steal tbh. He was just levels ahead of well pretty much every single person on the ice today. Actually stunned me. I would have loved to see Dmitri Buchelnikov here today as well, I think him and Lombardi would have stolen the show. Either way we may just be sitting back a year or 2 down the road saying how we got some steals in the 2022 draft
Oke #31 looks good overall he’s athletic and such has good poise but is not flexible , note at the end of the first he was down and if he was flexiable would have pulled his other leg back up and into a butterfly position , but he could not get up , overall I like his game he is just not very flexible I like him though.
Lombardi looks like he could be something to keep an eye on 👀. Wow. Kid puts on some weight and keeps getting better, that's a nice center to have in the system. Kasper looks good.. i love that he loves driving the net any chance he gets and isn't a perimeter rat. Lots of good things here. I wouldn't over react about Cossa seeing as it's 3 on 3 and not the real intensity of an actual game (which he seems to get to be his best in that setting). Cross Hanas looks so calm and patient out there. Very much looks like he's ready for the AHL. All in all very pleased with these kids.
Some of these line predictions during the live stream were absurd 😂. Someone said Namestnikov – Kessel – Lombardi .. ? Like what?
On a serious note. Take a look at Wings Capfriendly if you get the chance. Guys like Smith, Erne, Lindstrom and Oesterle are probably going to be apart of the 24 but won't dress every night. Jake Walman is now going to miss the beginning of the season due to surgery. Guys like Edvinsson and Johansson have a better chance now on the left side of the defense.
I see these lineup predictions everywhere but here's what seems most likely to me atleast.
The only sure thing about the defense is Mo being our number one defenseman. The rest of the guys are probably going to get different looks on different pairings all year unless something sticks. The other good thing is Chairot is actually really good on both sides. So that opens things up incase of injuries, playing with a rookie or whatever happens. Barring anything crazy happening, that's the lineup opening night.
Would be nice to see atleast 2 rookies make their debuts. There's actually 4 that have a good shot to make it(good problem to have). My money is on Johansson and Berggren making it for the opening night just based on what i've been keeping up with these past few years, I believe AJ is ready and Berggren is ready for the next step after setting a GR record last season and a whole summer to improve his strength even more.
The bottom six is highly interchangeable I will add. That bottom six is better than our middle six the last 3 seasons lol.
Hanas, Lombardi (good hands), Ali (acceleration out of turns) ,Biuum (big smooth skater), Edvidson, Marco Kasper all of thier skating stood out from the others.
Cross Hanas needs to stop turning his back on opponents in the corners or along boards, note 1:27:21 He almost got killed in Traverse City last year at Prospects Camp. This is hockey 101. Turn around and face that checker , even turn around and body check him or cross check him or let him go in first and get on his back. He keeps trusting opponents to be nice guys he will be back on stretcher in a real game. Then @ 1:27:44 Hanas makes a blind pass to nobody on 3 on 3 hockey- the play goes the other way ofcouse and almost ends up in net. 3 on 3 is about possesion not blind plays. Then @ 1:35:55 Hanas is all stick work on a back check puck battle- which he lost. That is roller hockey style play- not NHL. Just prior to that he had a in tite mucking style scoring chance at the goal mouth and instead passed to nobody. I just dont see it for Hanas. I think he goes to Grand Rapids and gets 22 points in 70 games and lives happily ever after.
Problem with skilled guys like Lombardi: They need to be supremely skilled – or well-rounded – to get into the NHL. Otherwise, they are going to end up in other leagues. He worked hard and showed some niftiness. Elmer Söderblom might lack defensive awareness to make it in the NHL, but he can improve (he didn't make the cut to the Swedish National team coach standards). Love the talent on this team, though: Casper, etc. even Edvinsson, who acted dominant sleepiness out there. Neither Edvinsson nor Söderblom is physical like Seider btw. So do not expect too much on that front (again, they could learn).
I'm really excited about Detroit's future! I could see Detroit's future line-up look like this several years down the road: (2027-2028 Est:) Stanley Cup Contender
Buchelnikov Larkin Raymond Hanas Kasper Berggren Soderblom Lombardi Neiderbach James Veleno Mazur L-D Nilsson
Edvidsson Seider Buium Hronek Johansson Grans Wallinder

Rass-Sunny-Erne

That's my 2 (maybe more lol) cents.
3:19:05 okay Ammo 👀
I wish we could see the draft lmao
Commentator needs to remove the word scores from his vocabulary
naah.. these 3v3 scrimmage tournament doesnt say much.
Art is so annoying. Lol
Ali was a 7th rounder but I see him making the Red Wings
Lombardi looks like a steal. Philpis speed is unmatched
We are so lucky to have Mickey, both Ken's, Danielle, Carly, and Ozzy. But Art is so annoying.
When ART realised why the Teams are called how they are called.
Is Lombardi that good or everyone else that bad ? Time will tell.
Penalty shot save was Flores not Gylander.
Hanas, Lombardi (good hands), Ali (acceleration out of turns) ,Biuum (big smooth skater), Edvidson, Marco Kasper all of thier skating stood out from the others.
Edvinsson in 19 years old not 21
Good production, camera smooth transitions. A pleasure to watch
I hope to see Mazur on the team in the future! I love the grit and attitude he plays with.

need to sign klingberg
Holy shit Ali looked nice
These announcers presumably from Michigan have a slight Fargo accent, right?
Every time I’ve seen Cossa he’s struggled. Could just be growing pains. Hopefully, he gets more comfortable. He’s still so young, long way to go.
Where’s Elmer
These accents….can't take it anymore!!!
