    Wow. Really makes the leafs loss in 7 not bad at all. Seeing the panthers get posibbly swept is a no no.

    damn, the Lightning might actually win 3 cups in a row😱…it hasn’t happened since the Islanders won 4 in a row in the early 80s.

    Kucherov has been special, without question… but the captain has been sensational! Game 2 didn’t do him justice.. the beating he took with a handful of blocked shots was insane. Stamkos has also played multiple positions and produced during the absence of Point. Show love to the captain, but Tampa overall still looks like the best team in the NHL.

    because in NHL playoffs,, experience wins,, TAMPA lost alot of playoff series when they were kept winning or near president trophy type years

    Tough to see the panthers go out like this. Such a great team all season, and essentially shutdown this series. Tampa really showing that championship pedigree, while the Panthers are learning the hard way what it’s going to take to win. Don’t anticipate this going back to Sunrise, but stranger things have happened.

    Panthers were so good in regular season. Now they suck mjaor D. Just messing around the net all the time with zero effectivity.

    if you cant get a lead against Tampa you will loose 8/10 games. They are that good. Leafs had the same problem in the later games of the series. they never led.

    Lightning are very consistent and show no panic at all at any moment, this is a big ingredient to win the cup

    Regular season doesn't matter at all, if you suck at the playoffs. Goodbye cats.

    Florida Panthers are pathetic. How did they win the Presidents Trophy.? They played all weaker teams. Perhaps a sign that Florida was going to lose was when they played Tampa in one of the last few games of the regular season when Tampa snapped their 10 game win streak.

    Something to note about Florida Panthers. Their top guys are not doing anything. Where is Huberdeau? Barkov ? No where.

    Another sign Florida was going to lose and not make it in the playoffs. They took Joe Thornton. Any team that takes Joe Thornton will never make it in the playoffs. Joe Thornton is bad karma for any team. Boston traded Thornton, then they won a Stanley Cup. Sharks also did better when they traded Thornton.

    Right away I'm going to tell you a Canadian team will never win the Stanley Cup as long as Gary Bettman is NHL Commissioner. It's the Bettman curse. He became Commissioner in 1994. So if you think Edmonton Oilers or Calgary Flames will make it through, they will lose and I'm Canadian too.

    Right now looking at all the teams, Tampa looks the sharpest. Some people say Carolina . I don't think so. Carolina's puck passing is pathetic. I was favouring the Rangers because I particularly enjoyed the series against Pittsburgh. However, Rangers Carolina series is the most boring series. Rangers are just standing around not doing anything.

    I'm saying Edmonton Oilers are going to beat Calgary Flames. Here's why. Calgary is just one of those teams that's either top of their division or right at the bottom. If they do make it to the playoffs they usually get swept first or second round. Edmonton also has younger faster guys who can really skate, pass the puck and score.

    it's over, Cooper is outcoaching Brunette with ease, Tampa is shutting down most of what Florida is trying to do, it does help when the Panthers have a mediocre power play for one of the best offenses in the NHL. Hey, Giroux was Florida really the answer, guess you should have gone to Colorado, uh? Florida, if you're smart let that man walk in the off-season

    I haven’t watched the entire series. From what I see the Lightning seem to be faster, skating harder, and Florida’s D is leaving Bob hanging out to dry. Tampa is playing how Florida was playing in the regular season. Where have Huberdeau, Barkov, and Giroux been this series? Nonexistent. Colorado vs Tampa could be one of the best Stanley Cup finals ever!

    Once again, we see that the NHL regular season means pretty much nothing. The smart teams don't waste their energy trying to obtain the best record they just pace themselves to peak going into the playoffs. Florida needs to learn this. TB did. Not sure why 82 games are needed in the RS – money I suppose. Cutting the season to 50 games and allowing all teams (seeded 1-32) play in the post season would be much more exciting.

    Just think Florida Toronto was only one bounce away from eliminating the Lightning. I'm pretty sure the Leafs would be much easier to play and defeat.
