I'd love to know what the stats are regarding how well teams do in their first game of the next series after they swept the previous series and had such a long rest?
THIS YEAR IS GONNA BE A SPECIAL YEAR FOR THE NY RANGERS, THEY HAVE EVERYTHING WORKING FOR THEM AND ME PERSONALLY I REALLY THINK THERE GONNA WIN THE CUP THERE TAKING NO PRISONERS BUT JUST TO WIN WIN WIN.
Rangers are finding their feet in terms of goals at just the right time, I think what had made the difference in the later stages of the play offs is our ability to make nearly every power play count! Lots of work to do though, win game 2 and the Lightning will be really feeling the pressure then

I never understood the narrative "The NYR haven't played a goalie like Vasy". Even though I agree with this 100%, those same people forget Tampa haven't played a goalie like Igor. Igor is the only other goalie on the planet that can match Vasy.
Not sure why everyone is so shocked. The NYR had a phenomenal season w/ 110pts & one of the best GAA in the league. They needed playoff experience & Pitt & Carolina def gave them that. They are 4 REAL!
Great performance by the Rangers. The Bolts looked lost in 2nd half of the game. Everyone including me is rooting for you guys! -A 12 year old Aves fan
People say the rangers haven't faced an elite goalie yet in these playoffs. We banked in 6 on the best goalie in the game. I was really hoping the oilers beat the avalanche. Then I know the rangers will win the cup. But against the avalanche that's going to be really rough.
Bro kakkos defensive game has been Selke like, & his passing game gets better & better each game, once he starts to become the goal scorer he’s supposed to be it’s gunna be real scary dawgz

Looked like game 1 with the Leafs. Vasey just wasn't in it. With the Rangers firepower, this will be a quick series if he stays slow.
