  2. space all around the goalkeeper. he is not established on either side. he is not clearing the crease or established on his strong side. his glove is down he is standing and slow. the defense needs to collapse inside and allow him to cover the puck. its basic saves and positioning that hurt us. ullmark is good but he needs the team to adjust defensively.

  3. The physicality on Defense will get them to the Eastern conference finals.
    🔥🏒🔥

  4. So great to see the Bruins go down in game 1 like this. Way to go Canes! Pretty sure Boston is the least liked team in the NHL outside of their fan base.

  5. This just shows how good hockey is. I remember not too terribly long ago the Canes and Panthers both being bottom tier teams in the league and now they both are considered among some of the favorites to win it all.

  6. I've noticed something in the playoffs and that's whoever wins first losses in the end soooooo

  7. First: The NHL cannot change the obvious points shown by the video of the Lindholm hit! Classic example and definitive hit-to-the-head, with all the line items in the rule book covered (upward motion, jumping off the ice at point of impact, following through with hit to the head, etc.). This hit cannot be spun in any way. Video doesn't lie.
Second: Pastrnak's hit on the goalie was a non-issue (at most, interference?) Frame-by-frame shows the goalie spun-and-dropped — and in the process knocked his jaw protection into his mouth!!!! That's where the blood came from. Doesn't take a physicist to know Pastrnak's defensive stance at impact absolutely would not cause the goalie to jump up, spin and flail to the ice like his Hollywood performance suggests.

No matter what comes of this… the B's need to 'Man-up' against the Carolina Whalers. They are not the team we've seen the forst 2 games. The B's allowed them to prevail.

And let's not be fooled here — the refereeing allowed that game last night to get out of hand. Perhaps today's officials might watch the Officiating Heroes of Yesteryear (Don Koharski, Ron Asselstine, Kevin Collins, John D'Amico, Kerry Frazier, Andy Van Hellemond, etc). While some of those officials pissed me off from time to time, they were ultimately fair …and OBSERVANT.

  8. The physicality on Defense will get them to the Eastern conference finals. 🔥🏒🔥
