  1. I grew up in the 70’s and I loved watching hockey with my dad who grew up in the Ukrainian country side and we loved the fights n big bruins fans grew up just south of Boston

  2. It was cool to see that when the team broke up and the bullies went to other teams and got the crap kicked out of them as individuals. They were just dirty players.

  3. Greatest years of my life!! Thanks for the memories. GO FLYERS!! Still the best thing to come out of Philly.

  4. Excellent Doco. I love these sports doco's on teams that break the moulds and create history for the sport.

  5. Hey Flyers ownership! Please pull your heads out of your rectums & allow Rob Zombie to make this movie!

  6. Philly ain't like this anymore. They just got off of a 12 game losing streak. I wish I could've grown up in a time of enforcers.

  7. Absolutely hated the Flyers and what they brought to ice-hockey with two massive exceptions. Reggie Leach was one of the purest goal scorers I had ever seen, and Bernie Parent one of the finest goal tenders. Those two players alone could make a team competitive. But ugh, I've always hated that team with a very special hate.

  8. I'll never forget the first NHL game I attended. I had attended all other major pro sports and college games , but I was amazed at the hockey game. My home town team hadn't won a thing ever , despite having a hall of fame scorer and that year wasn't going to be any different. Still ,the stands were packed , there were more pretty girls than at Dodger stadium. And the crowd was absolutely crazy all night. Television does hockey no justice , the excitement must be felt in person.

  9. Don’t worry Flyers fans, its only been 49 years since your last Cup.

  10. holy crow, youtube should label this as a fairy tale.

not 1 true fighter feared shultz, hound dog Kelly or moose dupont. talk about pumping up a story

  11. Can remember when bobby Clark would start crap then Dave Shultz would get into a great fight. Have to feel sorry for Flyers owner Ed Snder. After they won the 2 cups in early 70's could not win another cup even after signing Eric Lindros could never win another cup. RIP Mr Synder. Went to the first parade downtown. Bet at least halve millon people showed up. Hockey was more interesting back then.

  12. Your toughest teams usually end up being your greatest competitors. Too bad that today's NHL is so damn soft.

  13. All flyers players should be made to watch this..give them inspiration..a fan my entire life..my hometown team!!… I'm sickened of how bad this team has been for so long…

  14. The Flyers will forever pay the price for putting hockey on the map. It was supposed to be Montreal or Boston. But it was Philadelphia
And the ratings prove that. To this day.

  15. Fascinating. “It snowballed because he didn’t fight me”. So because he wouldn’t let you hit him with your hands you hit him with a weapon, and you say it with pride.

  16. When schultz was getting his ass kick. His boyfriend kelly help him. He wound never fight nick fotiu. Fotiu wound kick his ass. Like gillies and nystrom.

  17. As a Ranger fan, all I can say is the Flyers will always bring a smile to my face and remembrances I will always cherish. The relationship will always equal my beloved Yankees to the Bosox. Some of the best hockey I ever experienced was played by the Flyers and the Bruins.

  18. These were the real good ole days. Life was literally better then. You could keep a job and raise a family and own a home. (Unless you were a drunk)

  19. Great historical footage; but horrible propagandistic bent about Viet Nam war and Kate Smith. Watch this for the actual footage; ignore the pro-Washington propagandistic bias.

  20. I was 6 years old when they won the first Stanley cup and I still remember all the hoopla. I was actually in a neighborhood parade with my sister and her friends. I remember people streaking nude climbing poles rocking public buses absolute joyous mayhem. I'll always love my Broad Street bullies. There will never be a professional team like them again. ❤️

  21. 32:48 You know, I thought that was the parade this entire time. It didn’t occur to me that they were still in the stadium.
