  1. I guess the saying is true – you just cannot tear your eyes away from a train wreck, no matter how bad you know the scenery will be. RIP Philadelphia Flyers!

  2. They arent a failed rebuild though. This group was a playoff team. Imo it's just injuries that wrecked them early, and now they are demotivated, and injured still. They can jump back into it next year

  3. As a flyers fan it’s completely on Holmgren Clarke and Ownership for now bringing in the right development and scouting personnel as well as drafting worse than most teams

  4. We need to get rid of all ex flyers in front office. I think hextall had the right idea to lock all out.

  5. Flyers the last few years start with the toughest schedule. They went down with injuries and Covid protocols every other game and the league denied any more rescheduling. They played multiple games down 4-6 players.

Saying “Cater Hart needs to get back to form” is hysterical because he’s been unbelievable, and Martin Jones was 7-0 to start the season so he was a great backup. Hayes had three surgeries and didn’t come back until recently, Couturier had back surgery, no one knows where Ellis is, Provorov has dipped but Sanheim has excelled since the coach firing. They were favorites for the cup AVs first season before the pause. They came back and went undefeated in the play in round, got to game 6 in the second round and lost. With all of these statements it’s clear you haven’t been paying attention to what’s been happening, but also the Flyers aren’t your first priority so I understand it

  6. Everything.. Philly has gone away from the whole Flyer Identity..

  7. It only got worse when Ron Hextall left. It was looking up. Pitt knows look at the gems he found already

  8. Worst thing to happen to this team was them winning those two cups in the 70s. Ingrained those old guys who won it into organization forever and they still make decisions today as if hockey hasn't changed over the past 50 years. Also, Yandle sucks. Only people who think he shouldn't of been scratched are the people who haven't watched him play the past few years.

  9. I have done nothing but openly laugh after reading one article after another regarding the Flyers. I cannot stand the city or the people who inhabit it. I love nothing more than to watch that fanbase suffer. The Hayes and JVR signings are absolutely disgusting. Some of the worst I've ever seen. Toss in a terrible risto trade and thats the cherry on top for me. Want some sprinkles? The Atkinson trade… LOL FU Philly! You deserve it. I dont like Hextall but I damn sure respected him. Chuck Fletcher is an ape.. Ty for giving me another 5+ years of trash Flyers hockey. Go Bolts!

  10. Shoot Fletcher out of a cannon, he's gots to go. He is not the man to rebuild, retool what ever direction they go in the offseason

  11. Carter is a #1 goalie. His stats look bad rn bc he's worn down from having the team that he does in front of him. But if you look at the start of the szn when the Flyers were good, he was in the top of all goalie rankings. He's honestly one of the reasons we have as many wins as we do

  12. The Flyers number one need is a new coach. This team has the ability to pull a Calgary, but the veteran players need to be motivated to play.
The team has $76.1M committed to salary next year with Tippett and Frost needing raises and the team needing a goaltender to duo with Hart. They don't have any money to bring in help unless they are able to move the likes of JVR or Lindblom – but would that really be helping?

  13. Provorov hasn't had an actual top pair partner since Niskanen retired after the bubble. They tried to fix the probem from within with Phil Myers or Sanheim but Myers is a bust and AV kept trying to turn Sanheim into something he wasn't so he didn't come to form until the coaching change allowed him to play his actual game. Then they got Ellis, and obviously he's played all of four games for the team. You can't really blame Provorov for underperforming this season when he played most of his first pair minutes against top competition with Justin Braun because Ellis was out and they needed to keep Sanheim on the second pair to stabilize Risto

  14. Jimmy Hayes passed in August. That must still have an effect on Kevin, or at the very least didn’t help him this season

  15. Gosh, how many videos have you guys made talking about the Flyers with this subject title? And does the discussion even progress from the last time you covered the team?

  16. I’m just saying Yeo was fired leading a team towards last place that went on to win the Cup after. Now he’s leading a team that is doing awful. I’m not bothering to look up what led to his firing in MN, but he’s failing again on his 3rd chance.

  17. This summer flyers should:
    1) Let go of Fletcher
    2) Hire a new GM and head coach
    3) kick each players ass to train and come back healthy
    4) Trade a few players and sign a couple
    5) Draft well

  18. Risto is great, he has really helped this year. Yandle is a defenceman who doesn't play defense well and is way past being a contribution. He has the worst plus/minus at -43 in the NHL. Lets be honest, he is bad…cut him loose.
And I'm not buying that you guys actually watch Flyers hockey. I think you just read blogs.
Or get texts from old High School buddies…

  19. The death of the Flyers organization is one of the greatest things to ever happen. I hope they never recover. You thought the Chicago Cubs drought was bad? Just wait. There's not a person alive today that will see the Flyers win another cup.

  20. What's WRONG with the Philadelphia Flyer Organization? Two Words: Front Office. That's where ALL of the Flyers problems stem from.

  21. Everything is wrong with the Flyers. Don’t be fooled by the hiring of Torts. I, for one, am getting sick and tired of the Front Office never being held accountable for lousy drafts, salary-cap mismanagement, the hiring of incompetent medical staff, and ‘standing-pat ‘ At Trade and Free-Agent seasons. Nothing is changing with this club until the Front Office gets a long-overdue upgrade…which won’t be happening anytime soon because all of that crew are untouchable…Our loss.
