No Landeskog or Kadri, the boys stayed clear of the penalty box and Kuemper was solid. Great win for us and Gg Pens, round 2 in a few days.

Whatta beauty midair tap in goal by Mikko, 96 mph slapshot by Aube-Kubel was so smooth hit the pad in the back of the net in & out so fast, & clearly was an intentional amazing bank assist by MacKinnon to Toews for what would be the game winning goal. Also got pretty lucky with Guentzel missing that backhand that he had Kemp beat on & Crosby missing the quick shot before the intermission. Both teams played very well & almost was only the 2nd game all year without a penalty. Helm with a good effort game, but had the 1 penalty of the game after we got a 3-2 lead… an unnecessary holding penalty that put them on the PP late, but the PK prolly had the best penalty kill all season & the Pens didn't even get a shot on net & the puck was mainly kept outta our zone. Too bad the puck didn't bounce friendly for Makar on the empty net. Fans singing along to All The Small Things is a nice heartwarming moment. An all around great team effort for the Dub to protect home ice.
