  1. I have been an Avs fan almost religiously since I could watch the TV. I was born after the 2001 cup run so I spent every year in pain watching this team suffer. I watched as many games as I could during the shit show of the 13 season and I still cheered for them when they were at their lowest. Fast forward to 2019, I was in High School and just got my license, bought my first Avalanche tickets with my own money and drove an hour south to Denver for a game. I wore my oversized Avs jersey to school every single game day that I got recognized by classmates as the kid who wore the jersey. I was a choir kid and went to State 3 times, won awards for singing and lettered in Choir, A lot of kids from other schools knew me as the kid who could sing, but everyone at my school just knew me as the overly excited Avs fan. When I became a manager at my job, I made sure that the TVs always had the game on if the avs were playing while I was at work. The pandemic hit and hockey stopped for awhile but my life went on like everyone else. I graduated during the peak of Covid and moved on the bigger better things. My life took me across the country to Chicago for a year. I never stopped watching the Avs though. I joined the Navy and while I was in Basic Training, I had my Dad send me letters of every game I was missing while I was locked away from the world. During my time in Chicago, I watched every game. My roommates hated me on game nights. Many people in rooms close to mine complained about my screaming at night. I didn't care, I was apart of the Avs Faithful! I watched the Avs lose again in the second round and I was pissed. the 2022 season had started and I watched every single game in the beginning of the season. I moved to California for 3 months and quickly became known as the Hockey guy on that base to. I canceled plans with friends some nights because I forgot the Avs were playing and I had to watch. Then came March of 2022. I flew out to Japan and arrived at my first Ship for the U.S. Navy. I spent the next 6 weeks in Japan only able to watch game highlights. It fucking sucked. Then the time came and we got underway for my first deployment. My family would constantly send me emails about Avs games I couldn't watch. Every time we pulled into port, I downloaded all the game recaps to watch when we got back underway again. Then the Stanley Cup Final came. Our ship was sailing home from Kuwait when game 6 was going on. I opened Google and watched the game via the google scoreboard. It was 8am when the game started. I made my entire watch team refresh the page every 30 seconds. Then the game said "Final" and I lost my shit.
I spent my entire life watching this team and they win the Cup when I'm on the other side of the world. As sad as I am that I couldn't watch this year playoffs, I am incredibly proud of this team, organization, and all the fans. GoAvsGo!

  2. I’m pretty sure this guy is salty about the Avs winning cause he shows a lot of the other teams best plays

  3. Favorite part. The Avs winning it all. The funniest in game 3 after Colton got beat down he skated by the Avs bench signaling 2-1 with his fingers. Basically bragging they are losing lol

  4. This tam is just amazing for there rum and how much they enjoyed all there fans, including me as they celebrate Eric and Mackinnion just hugging it out it was really cool to see a victory like this for Denver. CONGRATS AVALANCHE THANKS FOR A AMZING SEASON!

  5. 10:12 theres no way the league wants this hit in the game…. watch there will be a suspension of nearly the same play…. dude was looking at the numbers the whole way…. funny a min later karma struck 1st I guess….

  6. Colorado proves you do not need elite goaltending to win the cup. This team was so well balance in all there lines this year. It will be a tougher road next year after losing Burakovski and Kadri.

  7. Makar is as good as there will ever be a a defenseman. Forsberg might be the best as a athlete.

  8. Everybody predicted Avs to win and they won. That's NOT how hockey works. That's NOT why we love hockey. That's NOT what should've happened. As a Vegas fan this Avs championship is way worse than Game 7 vs San Jose. And IMO the best game of these playoffs is Game 5 STL vs COL. The Blues showed that they weren't giving up, but how badly did Husso choke the next game

  9. AVS vs Blues was the best series of this years playoffs. Loved how we crushed their dreams with 4 seconds left. Especially after all that Kadri hate, they really showed that they’re a trash fan base.

  10. When the playoffs started. I said If they get out of the second round they are winning the cup. Then when they got to the cup final. I said it was going to be in 6 games. To be right on both parts was kinda cool. I can't wait for hockey to start again.

  11. This run was immaculate, but I still think games 4 and 6 of the 2nd round will be the best games of hockey I’ll ever watch. Love the Avs forever

  12. I keep saying to myself ok I wont watch this for a bit…. then 3 days later here I am…. let's go Avs….

  13. As a Caps fan, I was so happy to see Colorado win the cup. I had picked them from the beginning of the year and when we got knocked out, they were my all in it to win it!!! Plus it was nice to see Burakovsky raise the cup again. Seeing that amazing core and one of the great GMs in the game raise the cup was amazing!!!!!
