  1. they only changed expansion team rules to give vegas a winning team, the demise of veags team is the best thing for hockey

  2. Maybe they traded Marc Andre fleury because they know he’s about to be charged with sexual assault …

  3. Its interesting, you are literally watching two pro teams in Vegas going in opposite directions. Raiders appear to be finding stability and finally fixing a multitude of front office problems while the Knights are falling apart.

  4. I’m not much of a hockey go compared to football and basketball, but I have been following the Vegas Knights for awhile and just wondered how they fell off so hard, this explains it. TERRIBLE front office.
Trading the Goalie was like trading Mahomes for nothing

  5. Disheartening? As a Sharks fan I'm having a great time watching the collapse! 😂

  6. Misses playoffs by 3 points, in a season where they would have broken the mangames lost record (had other unsuccessful teams didnt break it that year too) after 3 conference finals in 4 years

    ABSOLUTE DEMISE OF A FRANCHISE

  7. I’m definitely not the only to notice the music in the background is from 007 on the N64.

  8. Basically 14 prospects in total they traded in those 3 years counting all the 1st and 2nd rounders as prospects and not counting Cody glass bc he was kinda a lost project at that point.

Not to mention all the “glue” players that held the team together

The one trade they made that I originally thought was good was the Martinez trade bc he was an elite D-man for 2 2nds… that’s solid ROI. And then the eichel trade wouldn’t have been bad for them had they not already traded every other captain on the team besides Tuch. But they did, then they traded Tuch too effectively ending the era and making the VGK unrecognizable from just 4 years earlier.

Also the DeBoer thing will to this day confuse me. deBoer is arguably the most overrated coach in nhl history. That dude has had so many cup worthy teams and not only not won with those teams, but choked in spectacular fashion time and time again

  9. The golden knights remind me of when you’re playing nhl 22 in franchise mode trying to acquire players for only draft picks

  10. Little Las Vegas got all the expansion breaks. Atlanta got crap. Totally unfair how they got the breaks but Atlanta got none

  11. If a solution to the Lake Mead issue isn't found, then it is likely that both the Golden Knights and the Raiders will relocate. That is, unless good snowfall and rainfall happens to feed into the Colorado River.

  12. Vegas is sort of like, if a kid that plays manager on the video game. All of a sudden owned a team. Don't bother buying a home in Vegas. We like to do trades.

  13. Good! This team received a totally unfair expansion draft that NO other team EVER got. They also have a classless fan base which is why NO ONE likes them.

  14. McPhee was the key piece in setting up the initial roster for this franchise. As soon as he stepped up to be president of ops for the team (at the end of season 1) and McCrimmon became the new GM, EVERYTHING has gone to shit. Everyone in Vegas is losing our minds every season with these terrible trades and seeing all of our favorites leave for nothing.

  15. I’ve watched this video 6 times now… I just love the way you explain it! Keep up the good wotk

  16. Its Called a Salary cap era of doing business, you forgot to mention , the cap should be at 87.5 if it had not been for Covid , do I agree Tatar was the worse trade known to the hockey world yes , do I agree Max P was a waste of a move , yes it was when David Perron was 3 Million a year cheaper Was trading Nick S. a mistake , well. he is making 7.1 compare him to Jack E 10 mil you got to wonder who the better player is , as for Marc F again the cap is brutal , this league is getting younger what can you do 3.25 has you two NHL caliber goalies lastly ,even if the team didnt make half the moves you cried about they would still by 5 million over the cap , then what again you didnt mention that,. so my advice , great of you to blast the team but talk about the full picture next time , then you will be credible

  17. Well, you've got a coach now that means business. Tone down the dancers and neon lights – try playing hockey!

Cassidy's s not going to put up with the nonsense. He'll leave also.

  18. After reading these comments – clearly folks are missing the point of Vegas. With respect to all hockey fans -I'm not calling folks ignorant, I think people are young and don't understand the history like ole hockey farts do.

They were put together to get the hockey gambling revenues out to Vegas. NHL went along with it

30 years ago or more, when the World Wide Web first exploded, there were Sports gambling sites based overseas -it was not legal in the USA at the time. There was no way in hell the Vegas Mafia was going to allow those gambling revenues to leave this country

In a relatively short span of time, they were able to buy out politicians, change legislation, get your tax dollars to pay for their arenas

But here's the most obvious thing that's right in front of our faces that young fans don't realize has happened during your lifetime – we've gone from local businesses, in Boston it was Dunkin' donuts sponsoring our media and team, to Vegas based gambling sites sponsoring your teams!

Look on every NHL podcast, locked on.. they're sponsored by gambling websites!

When and how did this happen?

That's the entire purpose of the Vegas knights, to make gambling revenues – and now they're in bed with the NHL

So for some of you conspiracy theorists that believe that there are NHL "gods" who decide the outcomes of games? You're probably going to be right eventually – as an older hockey fan, I can't believe I'm even saying this!
Yet, I'm a fan, not a fool. This isn't hockey anymore – you need to go back to the ponds and restart the sport at grassroots level!

We have seen gambling revenues explode in the USA over the past 25 years -then suddenly a cities in the desert have hockey teams?

the biggest ripoffs are the native American casinos, the majority of those revenues leave, and they don't get the good jobs – they'll put a few native American figure heads in management positions, make sure their photos get on their brochures

But they really have no power nor authority

the natives are busboys and waitresses, scrubbing toilets at best

So hockey players are just toilet scrubbers for the gambling executives now

I say don't be pounding on the desks of your GMS – go to the NHL gods – they're responsible for this laughing all the way to the bank.

I don't understand why there's not a major conflict of interest?

A major multi-billion dollar sports industry is in bed and sponsored by gambling websites?

    Say It ain't So, Joe!

For those who don't understand that reference?

Look up the black socks and shoeless Joe Jackson

I say he was not guilty! They set up the illiterate guy to take the fall!

  19. Honestly wouldn't go to Vegas just to avoid wearing those "Trump" helmets. I don't care if they're just on occasional use, one time is one time too many 🤢

  20. VGN are indeed a tire fire. Ironically, the Jets, who they beat in the 2017–18 west final , have also been on the decline ever since.
