I know the cap hit is and would be very high , but …….considering how much interest Kane has , and maybe not so much Toews has , that the Hawks could package them together for some team out there ? Is there a team that could handle that ?

Davidson better be a freaking genius. I see no reason to think he is. If this was the plan, they should have traded Kubalik and Strome off for SOMETHING. At least Bowman tried to keep this team competitive so Kane and Toews could retire Blackhawks. But, I suppose that core hadn’t made a playoff run since that embarrassing 2017 sweep, and that was a loooong time ago

Am I the only one who things the LA Kings should at least try for Kane? They have a massive prospect pool and are most likely still a playoff team without him, they just struggle with scoring and the Power play. Kane would help out massively with that.
If they’re bad enough, they should get a couple of #1 overall picks.
What people don’t realize is that Dach and DeBrincat were on the path to getting paid. DeBrincat would easily be a $9-$10 mil/year player. Davidson and the new brass knew that it wasn’t in the plan to keep and release them after this year. It’ll be a rough time as a Hawks fan, but I trust the rebuild process.

I've always been a hawk fan but Towes and Kane are the remaining super Hawks bring in 3 cups. They trade them it will be a very long time before the Hawks will be contenders. Sad
Most of the teams that were in the playoffs when the Hawks were winning 3 cups are still making the playoffs and they are competitive every season. Boston, Pittsburgh, LA to name a few. The fact that the Blackhawks are in their 2nd rebuild 7 years removed from a Cup just speaks to how shitty of a GM Stan Bowman was. I always tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but trading Panarin sealed the deal for me. He also brought in a rookie coach Colliton, a guy who had no business in the NHL coaching and we were rewarded with the worst start in team history. He fucked up the Blackhawks
I've been a Black Hawks fan since before my first game at the Old Barn in 1959.
Kane still has so much to contribute, but it would be a complete waste for him to stay in Chicago.

Patrick Kane came to the Blackhawks as an 18 year old punk. He got into a lot of trouble off the ice: Remember the cabbie and the rape accusation. But the Blackhawks stuck by him. I would like to see Kane finish his career with the Blackhawks. Give back to the team that gave you so much support.
been a hockey/Hawks fan since the late 50s, i'd like to see Kane go to the Rangers and reunite with Panarin, Rangers would automatically become the team to beat in the east, the Hawks won't be relevant for several years….BUT thanks for the memories, Towes Kane Seabrook Sharp Keith Hjarlmason to name a few, a great 10 yr run with 3 Cups,,,,,,
