Aperçu de la saison 2022-23 des Rangers de New York

Ils ont fait une belle saison l’an dernier, il n’y a aucune raison pour qu’ils ne fassent pas aussi bien ou mieux cette saison. 1. As a long time fan my pick for caption would have been krieder because of his heart, Trouba is great, but krieder would be my choice

  2. You forgot to mention the Penguins Hero Domingue was signed by the Rangers as well.

  3. Who do you think will be the #6 defenseman next to Schneider? Will it be Zac Jones?

  4. I have not been so excited about an upcoming Ranger season since I saw the Rangers play in 93/94. I just hope Sam Rosen does not retire. What ever happened to Al Trautwig??? 🙂

  5. I was so sorry to lose Copp, especially with his capability to play any forward position. But getting Trocheck took the edge off that down feeling. He is an excellent faceoff man and that was a big hole for them last year 👍

  6. I haven’t been to the garden since 2019. Covid and school made sure of that, this year I will not sit idly by while my Rangers have this good of a lineup. It’s been too long, I gotta get back!

  7. Lafreniere was drafted as a winger, and he was a winger in the Q. When was he a center?

  8. Rangers will finish 4th in the division as the team has lost much of the depth.

  9. Rangers will finish 10th in the conference and 6th in the division this season.

  10. I think they win their division and believe that they are a serious cup contender. This is a damn fine team.

  11. rangers need all or most of lafreniere, kakko, chytil, kravtsov, miller, and schneider to take big steps and have great seasons to repeat last years success. personally i think drury after watching the kid line in the playoffs is hoping for a big push from the team but specifically the younger guys. i thnk it would also help if trocheck could be a great defense first second line center and blais is going to be a valubale depth piece if this team is to have a successful playoff run, the days of "our goal is to make the playoffs" is over. rangers success will be judged only by how much work they get done in the playoffs. they lost too much for these guys to not contribute on the scoresheet and defensively they need to be better.

  12. they will need to find top six right wingers to play and contribute. So far Kakko has not shown he is capable, Kratsov i s the only one that actually plays the position. Laffy, Cuyle, Othman. Blais, Panerin, Kreider all are left wingers . The Rangers have 6 or 7 left wingers and basically zero right wingers. The are good everywhere else but someone will have to switch sides and succeed or they need to trade. They can't pay 6 left wingers not pay 1 st round picks to play 3/4 line minutes

  13. It's a good time to be a Ranger fan these days. I was stunned to see them make the ECF last year. Hopefully they can make a similarly deep run but do it without having to go 7 games each round. They're really close.

  14. Chytil is miscast as a center. The "Kid Line" is effective because Laffy and Kakko have chemistry, and ONLY them. (Literally, they only score when Chytil is stuck up at the point). If you watch the games you see Chytil kill play after play after play. The Rangers 3rd line was horrendous all season no matter who the wingers were, because the problem is the center. Chytil is a legit prospect, and he wins most 1 on 1 battles, great at retrieving the puck, shoots a lot, but I have never seen a player more useless at center ice. He has absolutely no vision and makes all his wingers worse players. He has to be moved to wing or off the team. 2 Seasons of the worst 3rd line in the NHL is enough.

Miller is a similar story, his performance on the ice does not correlate to the glowing press he gets. He brings a no-contact game to the NHL. That doesn't mean he doesn't hit, which he doesn't, but that means he never goes into the corner to get the puck, he dodges power forwards moving towards his net and frequently abandons the crease when he would have to physically battle. That is disqualifying to me – but there's no denying the potential. He is big and long and has the athleticism to keep up with the best athletes in the world, and the poke check is not nothing. 2 years with Trouba and nothing's rubbed off on him yet. Contract year for him so maybe he learns to take a hit to make the play, then he will be an all start player. He's FAR from that now.

  15. I think they should’ve kept frank vatrano as Florida should’ve as well. That guy is an absolute work horse and generates momentum on his own. That being said this team is still maybe the best in this division. A lot of forward depth. Great goaltending. Solid D. This is a good team.

  16. I think that this team is stronger than last year. I was a little worried about the loses when the off-season started. Now I am comfortable with this team.

  17. Their depth is what's gonna beat teams like Carolina Boston and Pittsburgh who all got weaker.

  18. What U found hilarious from the Steve Dangle trade tree for Halak is that it ended up giving the Rangers the draft pick to get Igor Shesterkin. Now they are on the same team. If Halak doesnt remain healthy, we have Louis Domingue as the third string. He wasn't bad during round 1 of the playoffs especially as a substitute goalie from the minors. Plus he's cap friendly cheap.

  19. I'm so happy we got rid of Nemith.. Rangers have a speedy yet, physical team with great goaltending the focus on offense makes the defense lackadaisical instead of solid.. Let's make this work.. 40 to 50 saves a game ought not be.. Don't burn out Shesty….L.G.R.!!!!!

  20. That 1mil+ cap space will be 875K less when you pencil in Kravtsov. Leaving about 130K which is barely enough to add a depth Dman at the deadline.
