Coyotes take care of small vermin such as rats and mice. Is this a good idea to be killing all these coyotes out in the open? If coyotes are over-running an area and/or somehow a danger to people or cattle, then sure, SOME control would be in order. Yes, the title says "livestock predation" ….. let's hope this is the truth. If it's not, then let them deal with rats and mice.
I'm most certainly not a fan of all the congratulations and fist-bumping ……but I suppose there is a huge demographic out there that just love killing with all this technical equipment that lures in the game and all they have to do is sit and load bullets.

Controlling the population of pests is one thing, but you're still taking the life of an animal here. This glorification and celebration of violence is despicable. You are still supposed to respect the animal and not fist bump after getting a seemingly enjoyable kill.
