Lmfao you guys officially have the worst podcast for hockey. This was embarrassing to listen to, absolutely brutal. When are you gonna talk about Torontos issues and where they're going 💀 Butcher….Subban….like wtf are you guys on? How do you know so little?

listen im biased but y'all couldn't have missed more on this one. How can u not notice how different this team has been playing and their young stars. Shame
With all do respect, you guys are pretty much wrong on this assessment of the Devils. First of all, if you look at their overall play of the past 2 months, they are scoring on average 4-5 goals a night. It's not always Hughes or Bratt doing it mind you. Second, their underlying numbers from guys like Jfresh show that if this team had decent, consistent goaltending, they would be in a much better spot and many people would agree. Third, what are you guys talking about with "tearing it down" and we don't have support? We have Holtz, Luke Hughes, Graeme Clarke, Mukhamadullin, Zetterlund and others in our system that are extremely talented. Look at the Utica Comets! That doesn't happen by accident. Also, go read the latest copy of Hockey News and learn about what NJ is buidling before you start saying that we don't have an identity and that we don't know what to do.
We need more scoring and we'll get it as well as some solid goaltending which we'll get. After that, then you guys can make your assessment…

I’m gonna make like Adam’s ex and divorce this podcast. Can’t stand Steve and his dancing monkeys warped sense of reality. This is what you get when you grow up watching a mediocre team in a city that pretends it’s the greatest thing to ever happen to hockey.
I love you guys but please look up a teams analytics and their cap friendly before you talk about them for a segment
A lot of people forget that the devils are the youngest team in the league.
They really uploaded this thinking it was a good idea? Like it would make them sound like hockey analysts/experts?
• The devils have no scoring (we have a top 15 offense this season)
• Nico hischier is just “fine” (70 point pace 2nd line two-way center)
• Jack is “a little more than fine” (96 pt 42 goal pace at 20 years old on a bad team)
• We spend a lot of money on bad defense, because Will Butcher and PK Subban (PK is a UFA this summer and Will Butcher literally isnt even on the Devils)
– We arent rebuilding well because we dont have multiple firsts next few seasons (Ignores the fact that we have a top prospect pool with Alex Holtz and Luke Hughes making the jump soon)

This segment was a joke. Hughes ok? Hischier ok? I'm not even a devils fan but as a hockey fan am confused.. they are literally a goaltender and another year of development away from the core players from competing for a spot. Do they not realize this is the youngest team in the NHL? And they still have two blue chip players coming up in Holtz and L. Hughes?
WTF is this segment 🤣. They suck because of goaltending mostly, their core are all 23 and under, and will keep getting better. with some huge prospects coming up. they're literally building up. Its not all wins and losses at this point

Well guys, you're blaming the youngest team in NHL for not delivering results as expected, while some of their players could be your kids…
You guys are wayyyyy off on this one…. Will butcher isn’t even a Devil anymore so that right there is enough to disregard this…. Our time will come soon, the forward core is all 24 and under, and any team loosing their top 2 goalies is going to struggle immensely. Team defense as a whole is the big issue facing this team, not goal scoring, still have some dynamite prospects in the system. The Devils are going to be a threat for years to come soon

Steve and the boys just dumping on them and make me feel shameful lol. Bratt, Hughes and Hisher r averaging a point a game. They r fine they just need defense more than Hamilton.
watching this just shows they have zero clue what they are talking about. Butcher is expensive??? he’s not even on the team. Hughes is just ok? let’s throw out the window the fact the Comets have the best record in the AHL. they have so much promising prospects, these guys just have no clue. why even talk about a subject you know so little on?

Devils are one of the most promising teams in the league. So young woth great youbg players. Once there is a goalie and some new staff and everyone is healthy finally. Things will be different. Their prospects and young talent are a bit above most teams.
