Chychrun is a great fit, but the money is the problem, right now they have 4 mil cap space to sign Anderson and Durzi, and let's say they agree on a 2 mil dollar bridge deal with Anderson, they have to trade Durzi, Walker, Turcotte, 1st round pick to fit Chychrun in, or flirt with losing Iaffalo for nothing, which would be terrible. I'd make that deal from the Kings perspective, I really don't want to give up Durzi, but that would be the only way.

I kinda feel like this is a make or break season for The Kings. They took a pretty big step last year, and they NEED to work off of that. If they take a step BACK, it will be hard to promise optimism to their fan base. Guys like Turcotte and Byfield will be under the most critical of microscopes. They can’t just tread water, Canucks style. Sorry, Nucks fans. I couldn’t help myself. But The Kings might be fortunate that the Pacific division is a little bit weak right now.

Turcotte, Kupari, Fagemo, and Madden are waiver exempt so they will likely be in the AHL to start the season unless they prove they deserve 3rd/4th line minutes over the others. Also Clarkle can only play in the NHL or OHL next year, with 5 NHL level RHD Clarke is likely staying in the OHL or forces the Kings to make a trade in order to free up an NHL roster spot.
Chychrun would require at least an Iafallo or 2 of Lizotte/Walker/Durzi/Roy to make the money work to start the season. Kings are likely to use an RHD at LD(Walker had played regular minutes there before) this year and address it either at the deadline or next offseason.

Yotes get: 1st round pick, Turcotte, J.A.D
Madden And Turcotte need games have had the injury bug hard unless they are just fantastic they'll be in ONT at seasons start JAD will be with LA, For Chychrun I'd say Bjornfot, Durzi, and a 1st and wouldn't be opposed to adding a 2nd/3rd rnd pick or equivalent prospect or put Walker in the deal too, roster space is starting to be a problem especially down the right side on D and with Spence and Clarke likely NHL ready it's not a loss a bit of gamble worth it I'd be just fine with a D-core of

Edler-Moverare/Clarke-Spence

I really want to see a Turcotte- Byfield- Kaliyev 3rd line. Turcotte doesn’t have a center spot on the team so transitioning him onto wing would be nice to give him a little more minutes than on the 4th.
Well if the Kings have injuries, they sure are deeper than most teams. Kings finish 3rd in the Division. They never win the Division.
Nice season preview. The fact Kopitar is still leading this team in points is a concern. The young, “no name” defense is massively underrated and will perform well. Biggest question mark is the goaltending: can Quick keep defying age? Will Petersen take a step? If the goaltending fails them, this season might go south quickly.
Madden has almost no chance to make the King's roster this season. JAD will have to prove something in Ontario for a while before he gets another shot and that's only going to happen in the face of injuries or very poor play. Brandt can't play for Ontario this season because he is too young. It's OHL or the King's roster for Clarke. Kupari is waiver exempt so unless there are injuries in camp he likely starts the season in Ontario.
Clarke can't play in the NHL this year, it's NHL or OHL only.
Lost all respect for you and this video when you said Clarke would be in Ontario. He is ineligible to play in the AHL because of his age.
