    i feel im in the minority of ranger fans who like this. i was in the Kreider camp as well, but i believe the locker room is okay with this decision. and as a fan, what more can i ask for ? rangers have committed to the major contract trouba has and trouba certainly has much higher expectations now. hopefully being captain elevates his game. i liked him all through last year, just seemed like everyone ran out of gas at the end. very excited. should be an interesting next couple of years

    Kreider endorsed it so Trouba is a great choice . He was very good last year by taking Miller under his wing 👏

    I wanted kreider to get it but if he as well as the team is onboard then I’m good with it. I just hope he makes smart plays in the playoffs going forward. He plays hard and love how he throws the body around but he made costly mistakes last playoffs like pinching when he shouldn’t or took bad penalties. We need him to correct that going forward in order to win it

    They’re going to have to move a contract in the next 2-3yrs and it’s likely gonna be Trouba or Kreider. Imagine they move on from another captain?

    I was in on Kreider also. I'm thinking maybe Kreider's time is limited as a Ranger? Hope not! I know that Kreider will support this move 100%. Glad we have a Captain. Been a Rangers fan…1st game 1968yr. But the Rangers have a bad habit of trading captains. I'm still made they traded Mr.Vic Hadfield. 😬 I support this move,he'll make a good "C". So…LETS GO RANGERS!!!!👍💪🇺🇸😁
