Why make the 1OAA pick in Lafreniere if you insist on not giving him the opportunity to prove the player he should be? Blais over Laf?

So Blais today and then Laffy? I do not see why Blais should be there regularly.

I have no problem with this, as long as gallant actually gives the kids legit minutes (spoiler alert: he won’t)

Obviously Sammy was off last season so he in 1st line is suprising. But it is just start of camp and in next 3 weeks it can be a lot different line up.
I personaly like idea of keeping kid line together because if they will grow and every season will make lot more points than year before, than this trio will be great 1st line in 5-6 years when they will be in their prime

Does Gallant never learn?
Blais (a bottom sixer) on the top line when we have some top young players dying for top 6 mins remain on the 3rd line.
How can this be motivating for the young players?
« Dont worry kids, you will get mins on the 3rd line whilst these bottom 6 players jump ahead of you into the top 6. » (Blais, Hunt, Goodrow, Vatrano etc)
It honestly feels like he doesnt trust the kids on the top line.
