It woulda been great if he came back. He makes the team better and it turns out much of his drama was created by his partner.
I also think the Sharks reputation took a hit especially from a management perspective. They obviously did not communicate clearly to Evander that players had a problem with him. They never facilitated conflict resolution practices. Instead Evander was playing hard while everyone around him pouted. Not only that his end of season meeting with coaching and management was positive according to Kane. The Sharks did not dispute that claim.
Good luck to him but never against the Sharks.
Yea he seems to be taking care of his family fine now without his crazy ex wife. That whole old SJ management created a big lie and I'm glad theyre all gone. Best player we had in the past few years and we could still be making playoffs if we kept him with the upcoming talent we have now. Such a waste to get rid of him when the players who supposedly had issues with him cant even score a goal. They need to go next.
DW made a gamble on a trade and long-term contract for a player who had already burned multiple bridges in the league
EK9 paid them back by proceeding to burning the bridge with the Sharks
Sad because EK9 is a great player & exactly the type the Sharks need
