Les Flames sont-ils meilleurs cette année que l’an dernier?



Aucune équipe de la LNH n’a connu une intersaison plus folle que les Flames, qui ont perdu les vedettes Johnny Gaudreau et Matthew Tkachuk, mais ont ajouté des talents de haut niveau à Jonathan Huberdeau, MacKenzie Weegar et Nazem Kadri. La grande question entourant Calgary est de savoir s’ils se sont améliorés ou non par rapport à il y a une saison. Les analystes de TSN Hockey, Mike Johnson et Craig Button, donnent leur avis.

  1. Home town reporter pumping up the team he has to follow all season. Losing Matthew and Johnny represents a loss of more than 80 goals. Huberdeau will get his share but he won't have premier set up man Barkov feeding him this year so his totals will suffer. Kadri is simply one of the most over rated in the league and has a history of brain cramps that get him suspended or penalized at crucial moments. The Pacific is tougher this year and the Flames are going to have a tough time making the playoffs

  2. Yes I think the Flames are better than last year. Personally I think MacKenzie Weegar is the biggest part of the Tkachuk deal you know what you're going to get from Huberdeau. Weegar's defence will help to solidify an already good Flames defence and possibly put them over the top come playoff time.

  3. Kadri is a great bonus. His experience and talent will come through huge this season. Watch, he will be a major factor in their success and push them far in the playoffs.
