  1. Dude those are pretty terrible some of them. Most the puck is nowhere near the player. Is this an excuse for the flyers sucking and not winning since 72?

Just head down way after the play cheap shots.

If I was a coach when my team played the flyers I'd bring up all my goons

  2. When i was 8 i started tapeing ever Flyers game and at the end of the year i would go back and fast forward through every game and take the biggest checks and fights and record them onto another VHS tape. My tapes were legendary in my neighborhood. After school i would have friends come over to watch and just watching my friends faces when there jaws drop was worth the hrs and hrs i put into these tapes. I would make copies and cell them for 10 bucks to kids parent's and family. I sold tapes for 3 years till eventually i just stopped. I wish i would Have figured out how to make a career of it because I love making those tapes. I was actually just about to show my son. How I used to do it. Because he loves Flyers hockey just as much as I did at his age. It's crazy to think that that was 30 years ago when i was hust a 8 year old boy making good money. And i still have my #22 Rick tocchet jersey from when i was 8. My son wears it when we go to the games

  3. So satisfying to see all those hits against the flightless birds

  4. My first ever hockey game was a Philadelphia phantoms game when I was like two, every time someone was checked into the boards I would jump out of my seat and start cheering, it’s still my favorite part of the game

  5. I'm pretty sure I once saw John LeClair check a guy right through the penalty box door.
This video needs the Hextall hit on his recently former teammate Mark Recchi.

  6. How is Claude Giroux’s hit on Sidney Crosby not on this list? He MURDERED Crosby, and then scored 32 seconds in… that’s probably one of the, if not THE best opening shift in flyers hockey history. Take out the best player in the league with a clean check, then go score less than a minute in. Can’t really top that

  7. Man, that Steve Downie hit was so nasty and illegal but fun to watch. Same with the Roenick hit😁

  8. Zero respect for the opponent, blindsiding, jumping into hits, elbows and shoulders aimed at the head, and on and on … that's how you end careers, and that's not what hitting in hockey is about.

  9. Many of those hits would be penalties and fines these days. Way too many head shots.

  10. Great video, but even as a Flyers fan, #2 from Richie and #1 from Downie just make me shake my head–there's good, clean hits and then there's dirty play, and those two were, unfortunately, the latter. Spoil sport, yes, but I wouldn't want to see one of my guys hit like that, so it goes both ways.

  11. Another absolute heater from SVS! I must say though, you should run up a tom wilson biggest hits video, that'd be an absolute classic

  12. Funny how the real number 1 Flyers hit of all time came from Scott Stevens, and don't forget Kronwall on Voracek. That one was beautiful too.

  13. I know they scored a goal after but Richard's hit on krecci taking him out of the series in 2010 was huge
