  1. Bailey. ,Bellows. Draft pick to. Coyotes for. Chychrun… Stability. Young. Talent and future considerations for a player with great upside but not 100 % predictable,as far as numbers imo

  2. You know you and I said their need months ago.the have not changed. And as far trading. Beauvillier I would like to keep him but if we had to …

  3. I could add more comments but I'm a little under the weather, 55 years plus of being entrenched in the. NHL. 💘 I still, always will love it 😃 but another show, another topic I would be in 🛌 any way once again everything you said. Spot. On ! Can't agree more. Thank you again for all your hard work and quality of your show 😊

  4. And one more time deepest sympathies to all who knew and or loved our tragic player losses in and around the NHL 🌎 world rip

  5. No skill. No Trotz. Lou is a problem. He can only get you so far. He thinks he is so smart and yes I can see Leddy back. Wants to sign ex Devils too. The only thing I like are their top D. Goalie Ok. start over. The league has passed them by and I hope Lou realizes that. Everyone will copy Tampa’s formula. Toughness and skill. Also they have drafted badly. At one time it was thought they had a good farm system but now it seems they don’t.

  6. They have goalies that's good they need a star like a Matthews they need a Tavares

  7. Trotz had forwards also play defense so they get tired faster so when it was time to score they got tired

  8. Get johhny gaudreau and Nugent Hopkins trade varlmskov and bellows for nuggent and first round pick and bailey for gaudreau

  9. I have a bit more of a conspiratorial take. Given Trotz wants to coach right away and is going to get paid big time to do it, I think Lou is headed into stealth rebuild mode and didn’t want to pay Trotz for that. I think practically everyone will be shopped. Doesn’t mean anyone will be traded, just that they could be if the price is right. As an organization with a new expensive arena, a relatively small (currently bummed out) fan base and an historical inability to attract top free agents, I don’t think they are going to write a public rebuild letter like the rangers did, but I think if the trade value is there, Lou will make dramatic changes towards youth. If not, I’m guessing status quo for some lesser FA signings to give it one more shot

  10. No, Barry is the man. Barzal is a kunt and should learn how to be a professional.

  11. Hi Pens fan here. Your backup goalie? Can we talk? We have a chef, and an oft-injured # 2 Goalie (De Smith), Kasperi Kapenin all available.

  12. Started Carolina, Florida, Chicago, Columbus, Arizona, Vegas. First 6 games no where near New York. Then they had a week off and went Nashville, Montreal, Winnipeg, Minnesota, before playing Jersey which is the only game near NY, then played Tampa and Florida. Not an excuse everyone in the NHL has to travel but that sucked.

They need to get a real 1st line winger and a puck moving defensemen. Biggest mistake was trading Devin Toews 2 years ago, they really missed not having him or Leddy last year. Plus he grew into what everyone thought he would a top pair defenseman. They didn't get enough back in return for Toews.

It would be nice if Bolduc was ready, he would be an excellent compliment to Dobson, he is pretty close.

Bailey can still play, but he is not a top 2 line winger.

  13. They need an offensive coach AND a power play coach who has a system that works. Hiller needs to go. There is no sync to this team, no system to their offense at all. Also Barzal needs to shoot the puck, not imitate the Ice Capades.

  14. Who are the Isles gonna hire BETTER than Trots? They're in a crap shoot at this point. Yeah…they can score more…but good luck on D.

  15. They went through covid 3 times during the season, watching Clark Gillies, Jean Potvin, and Mike Bossy who the current players had access to pass away. A 13 game road trip to start the season. Barry Trotz's family issues, and key guys on and off the injured list. You name me 1 team in any league that can bounce back from that. I know this team will learn from this season and improve.

  16. You have way too many guys near 30 on long term contracts. Then you have a coach who refuses to ever scratch them. They lost their motivation

  17. They went 5-6-2 on the road trip. You're hoping to go .500 on the road. They got 12 out of a possible 26. Which is just under. 500

  18. Gotta be very rare for a team to be good on both Special's and also be 7th in goals against, and not sniff the playoffs. I've known it the last two years they don't have the firepower to compete for a ring, and was very disappointed in last year's off season not doing anything to improve it. Scoring less goals than your 7th place rank in GA is dreadful.

  19. Coming from an islanders fan, it comes down to offensive they don’t have true threats, Barzal is starting to remind me of Grabner but a little better, he can’t finish. They need pure scorers. Starting the season 17 games on the road did not help, neither did injuries and Covid

  20. Most people also forget that we were playing every other day for the last two months of the season to play catch up. Everyone else gets shut down for COVID and we have freakin Bridgeport out there skating around. The dagger in the chest was that goal being overturned in Colorado when it was in. No puck luck, just wasn’t our year.
