Looks like the value of the Sinclair RSN’s has dropped from 10b to 3b since the acquisition just a few years ago. The acquisition by a major sport alliance could be a good thing for RSN’s, as the cost to produce « filler » content could be shared and syndicated. Could also be a bad thing as it could be a shared $3b purchase to be offset by increased revenue from other streaming services.

We can only hope. Sadly the leagues would probably just manage it until diamond/Sinclair deals with it’s debt but it’s be wonderful if this disastrously shit Sinclair just went away and the leagues owned this themselves. It’d probably be no lesser/lower budget and should be more accessible and without the middleman fuckery and horrifyingly amoral ownership of Sinclair.

Sell it to someone that knows to put the hockey score ticket on the TOP of the screen please. You know… where the players aren’t.
