This game also holding NHL record of overall goals in one period (12), but this record holding together with 11/12/1985 Oilers vs Blackhawks game (final EDM 12 @ CHI 9), record also set in 2nd period. Just interesting nerdy facts 😀
I kinda feel sorry for the Nashville broadcasting team. They had to suffer one of the biggest blowouts in recent memory, and it does not send a good message for the Predators, even if they make the playoffs.
Moved to St. Louis from NYC and went to see the Blues play the Rangers on March 7, 1981 at the "Checkerdome". A 7-2 Blues win and I recall Wayne Babych had a hat trick. Fell in love with this team and their great fans and never went back!

That might have been one of the most pathetic efforts from a professional hockey team I have ever seen. Certainly as a Preds fan. That was a no show.
