I took a little look at those back-to-back games. January will be brutal! Including the New Year's back-to-back, there's 5 back-to-backs in that month. I guess February makes up for that with 0. Of the 26 games played this way (I'm omitting the Prague series), only 4 will be played at home and only 1 back-to-back is at home. Of the 13 teams the Sharks play in the 2nd game; 2 will have played the night before like the Sharks (Philly-10/22 plays in Nashville & Chicago-1/1 plays in Columbus), 8 have 1 night off and 3 have 2 days off. I wonder what the rest of the leagues back-to-backs look like. This season will be a test for the team. Go Sharks!
MLB style "series" are much tougher in the NHL when you have to schedule around NBA games (NC State games for Carolina) in many arenas and concerts in all arenas.
Can't wait for vgk vs sj rematch but I will be rooting against the stars Maple Leafs Canucks and Canadians when you guys play against them
