– matches the colour scheme
This is a lesser of two evils situation, but at least this ad blends in rather well and it's for a product/service a little less soulless than a huge bank. I'm wondering if this is just a photoshop job, and the actual ad patch will look way worse. Part of me is really disappointed that these teams steeped in tradition and who have "sacred" jerseys (looking at you Montreal) would be the first couple of teams to sell out and tarnish their jersey. Shout out to Edmonton for standing their ground and refusing to include an ad on their jersey (for now).
That's so funny with Toronto going milk but at least it won't really screw up their jerseys. Note: Neil whenever we have something dumb and funny like this again in any future video please make a segment like the office one again.

The reason why we have adds is because of the money that the league has lost and these adds will pay it back. This will make the cap go up next year witch is a good thing.

So here is my opinion on jersey ads. I don't mind them. If it's a small ad on there it's not bad and it's not a big deal. Which is what these are. Similar to the NBA. And I don't mind if a team would have both a helmet and jersey ads. If those are small and one ad on each no big deal. I would prefer not having them however if a team does well in who they get for the ads it can add to their brand and it can be awesome. For example my favorite team in the NBA the Milwaukee Bucks used to have as thier ad Harley Davidson. Which is there in Milwaukee and is a huge part of the community. Wish they would go back to that but with that point said it was apart of the brand and city and it was just a great choice. If teams can do stuff like that with small ads no big deal. As long as like it doesn't become something more. If the NHL had one small ad on Helmets, one small ad on Jerseys and one small ad on the pants that is the most I could see them doing and it wouldn't ruin the whole look of things. Anything more than that would be too much and ruin the look of hockey uniforms. The NBA has done it well and the CFL has done it well. I think it can be done and not look like European hockey and soccer. However that also is up to the companies and teams too for it to look good and make sense too.

Leave the jerseys alone. Don't you make enough revenue from EXTREMELY overpriced tickets, jerseys, clothing, commercials, ads on the boards and throughout the arena… with that said.. IF there's going to be ads on the jetsey this is by far the best because it matches the jersey. Doesn't stand out. But regardless, ads should not be on jerseys!
