In the first 2 games of the series the Bolts looked flat after a 9 day layover. The Rangers were clearly more game ready. But games 3-6 the Bolts got their legs and shut down the Rangers best players with Kasilevskiy and Stamkos leading the way. The Rangers also seemed to be getting weary after their first two rounds went to 7 games and one was into triple OT. In the end, the 9 day rest worked to the Bolts' advantage. That and their big players played bigger than the Rangers big players did.

Chris Kreider was like the invisible man during this series. He should hang his head in shame. The leading goal scorer in the regular season and a no-show in the play offs. Talk about an extreme disappointment. He should be embarrassed. People noticed his lack of performance and passion.
